On a side note, there is an amazing series on Netflix called Song Exploder, the episode about "Hurt" is something else.

Best song ever about hitting rock bottom

Also Madonna : Like a Prayer for how goddamn controversial it was back in the day. Great song too.

Routine by Steven Wilson is one of the most amazing through story telling you will likely see.

I liked music videos when I was a teenager, Michel Gondry, Spike Jonez and Chris Cunningham always made really clever/interesting/fun/mental ones.

The best videos are just the ones that spring to mind/ are memorable

The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony
MJ - Thriller
Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice
Queen - I want to break free
Jamiroquai - virtual insanity is a good shout from above in this post
Prodigy - Firestarter
Massive Attack - Teardrop
Coldplay - The Scientist
Apex Twin - Windowlicker again good shout from above

All memorable, I don't necessarily like all of them, some are weird, but i remember these vids

Speaking of the Thriller video, I accidentally traumatised my kids showing them it before bedtime when they were about 6. I recalled the dancing around in costumes but totally forgot the werewolf transformation. Had to leave the lights on in the corridor that night...
