----------------------------------------------------------------------
so go to a different site you muppet
I’ve said since early season that we are struggling and could be in relegation fight.
Some feel we get players back and all will be well.
However we had all players early season and same problems we have now which are same problems we’ve always had under Bielsa…we gift goals away.
I saw enough from us today to be confident we stay up.
But what happens in summer?
I’d like Bielsa to stay but defensive eyes are a cusvhing issue.
I also think Llorente and Struijk have been overhyped and as for kocj it’s nearly 2 seasons now and we still don’t know if he’s any good in defence or not.
And firpo just feels like he’s not a leeds player.
3 of back 4 been apparently upgraded since promotion yet every man and his dog can see defence is our Achilles heel.
I think achieving Premier league survival this season will be celebrated like we have won the Champions League.
It will make up for empty stadiums when we got promoted and will be a perfect ending to Bielsa's reign at the club.... That's what I'm hoping for anyway.
I think the Koch injury upset the balance of the team. Firpo was terrible. We must stop conceding so many but not sure what the answers are. I've always thought without Philips we are a different side. We have never had proper cover there
I think Firpo will have a good second season, just not had a solid run of games.
Problem with defence the last two seasons is it chops and changes every week. In Bielsa’s first two seasons we had a fairly settled back 4. This year it’s just a different line up each week.
I’d like to see what Ayling, Llorente, Koch, Firpo would do if they played a proper run of games together. Koch and Llorente were solid vs Burnley and that’s the only time they’ve played together.
Ayling also lost possession in dangerous places too many times today. A nice 0-0 draw would be good sometime.
Firpo was just starting to find his feet before he got injured. Today he looked good in small bursts but off the pace, which is understandable after being out a while.
Once again though we just gifted goals. We played well and second half came out a different team.
Someone said Rodrigo was awful when in fact he was brilliant second half.
Forshaw was as well.
It’s going to be a tough run in but I still think we will stay up.
Ref had such a poor game though. He should have sent off McTominay no doubt at all.
If Bielsa would recognise that in the Premiership there is a time and place for a more defensive set up, then I would be fine with him staying, but there’s something overly obstinate about his mindset which could cost us relegation.
I feel party uncomfortable in my criticism if only to highlight, we simply do not know how our season might have panned out with Phillips and Bamford playing week in, week out. It shouldn’t be an excuse, but once again it brings us full circle back to Bielsa’s preference for a small squad.
Until today Inwas still leaning on Bielsa staying, but there is something uncomfortable that makes me feel that it could be deja vu next season, rather than pushing on in our third/fourth season as Leicester/West Ham/Wolves/Villa all did, stabilising in mid table and even pushing towards the European places.
It could go either way, but Bielsa can’t carry on in the Premiership with this gung-ho approach to every game next season.
I want to see Marcelo do something radical against Liverpool…..perhaps set up really defensive? Try to get a goal on the break? Have we really anything to lose?
I can’t fault the effort today, and on a difficult pitch. Firpo looked knackered at the end. Whatever the opinions of the players about this extended slump, we are not going to hear their thoughts. They can’t be happy with the overall performance, despite the majority giving their all in games like today.
Something tells me that if Raphinha departs in the Summer, he will spill the beans about any discontent.
I’m with Bielsa and the lads 100% right tk the end of this season, but right now something has to give if we are to avoid relegation.
I think v Liverpool Bielsa may start the second half 11 he played today which who knows might bare fruit on a smoother playing surface without the waterlogged conditions we got today that contributed to Struiyk and Ayling giving the ball away cheaply that certainly led to Man Us 2 late goals.
I quite liked the balance we had with Foreshaw and Klich but felt we needed a stronger third body in there other than Rodrigo who was OK 2nd half but against Liverpool maybe replace him with a more combatitive presence like Shackleton or play Dallas in there.
We have to at least try and keep the goals conceded down to just two if we are to have any chance and since our great win away at West Ham and Rodrigo has started Leeds have been too light weight in midfield and opposition is cutting through us regularly.

I'm afraid it's what Ayling does. He's a legend as far as this club is concerned but he's a prime example of a Championship player stepping up and not quite cutting it. If – sorry, when – we stay up, the likes of Ayling, Roberts and even Liam Cooper, must be made to make way for better-quality players. There, I've said it...

That’s what is needed, Burnley would do exactly that and you wouldn’t be surprised if they pulled it off. There are no free swings, we need to start scrapping.
Gutted as hell - but there is still hope if we play anywhere near like we can against Liverpool. I can't see Bielsa telling the players to park the bus. We won't be relying on goal difference to stay up!

The concern is Jaz we’re struggling to outscore any opponent right now.
At least park the bus would take them by surprise π€£ππ₯²
Well at least the newspapers are wondering how McTominay stayed on the pitch yesterday!
MOTD never even mentioned his foul play in their analysis.
Looking at his “performance” I’m more than convinced that the foul on Koch was at very least a yellow. Some refs would have shown him a straight red.
Then he gets booked second half yet again gets away with a terrible foul just after that.
Not sure it would have made much difference in the second half but had he walked in the first half it certainly would have.
Sorry to say we look likely to get another pasting on Wednesday. We put a shift in on Saturday in horrible conditions and will probably be feeling the effects. Liverpool have had an extra day to recover and can call upon many able deputies. Think we'll just have to take our medicine for a while longer until more winnable games come along and we are able to organise the troops. Hopefully Bielsa doesn't get too disillusioned in the meantime and walk. Everyone is trying their best but its just not happening often enough lately.

My view is that teams like us just have to win the games we can and forget about beating the likes of City, Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool. Yes they are beatable when we are at our very best but we have to be realistic at this stage of our development.
We have to now replicate our second half performance yesterday against the teams that we know we should have a good chance against.
Tough week with Manchester, Liverpool and Tottenham inside 7 days. If we come through with two or three points I will be satisfied.
I don't think bielsa will walk. I'm sure he's not disillusioned. I see that cleverson article has been pulled, what happened this morning last I saw he was talking about coins.
Agree with were and Stoopo...I'm not really expecting anything from this run of tough games, but it's the teams outside the top 6/8 that we need to be taking points off.
thought we played really but defensively shocking.
got some good player skum, but the lack of pace in their side shocked me.

Also thought he showed poor composure, but to be fair, he’s a young lad.
Everyone is expecting us to be too knackered to offer much resistance to Liverpool Wednesday night especially as in a similar scenario after a strong weekend performance a few days later we were humilliated 7 nil.
I hope Bielsa can rally the troops with no murder ball sessions before the game because I actually think tiredness shouldn't be an issue for the majority of the side that starts Wednesday.
Only 4 players I think will be a worry regarding their energy levels and they are Ayling Dallas Klich and Foreshaw.
So who do we have that could replace any of them iether from the start or after say 60minutes?
I would say Cresswell, Shackleton, Bate and iether Harrison or Roberts depending on who or if one of those two starts is a perfectly able replacement.
Basically the short recovery time of just over 72 hours should not be the issue Wednesday night it will be determined by how we set up, use of subs plus Liverpool's obvious superior squad depth.
Realistically we should expect a defeat but hopefully we can keep the margin down to a couple like Norwich managed to do. Another humiliation is going to then mentally damage us severely for the tough home game some 62 hours later.

Actually older than I thought (he’s 21). I retract my caveat.
I’m expecting we’ll lose our next 3…
Liverpool Away L
Spurs home L
In March, Cooper/Phillips expected back but woefully short of match fitness, so
Leicester home L
But those results don’t really matter…it’s the next lot..
And we’ll win 4 out of 5…
Villa home W
Norwich home W
Wolves away L
April
Southampton Home W
Watford Away W
Toughest will be Southampton….
After that think we’ll only get 2 points from last 6 games…
Chelsea home L
Palace away D
Man c home L
Arsenal Away L
Brighton Home L
Brentford away D
I’m total 14 more points forecast
Total= 37 points more than enough
Key is mid-March to mid-April
