I'm normally pretty positive, even injured as we are I expect us to get it right and beat teams like man utd and we would have if the ref had shown red to their hachet man but Liverpool only struggles against teams that park the bus. Leeds don't park the bus.

those are the results that sort of matter.

I think leeds were on their last legs within injuries when the game was originally PP'd so if anything their chances have improved.

Unfortunately for Leeds we have also improved. VVD has stepped it up a lot even since December and he looked really up for a big run in to the end of season

Leeds need have no worries about a city like result. city are nasty like that. we have an issue where we will stop playing after 1 or 2 goals and thats where leeds can catch us as leeds do not give up as far as i can see. If they stick in and keep going theres always going to be a chance falling to someone.

unfortunately for them this is also the side that somehow lost to everton only 2 weeks ago so i've no idea what happened there.

We can smell a league title push so we are not taking this light for a league cup final. the league takes precedent over that cup.

Worse thing about this season for me has been our continued failure to play out from the back. With the absence of Kalvin we just make so many mistakes trying to clear our lines. Any team that press us put us on the back foot. Hoping for a minor miracle

Exactly after the Man City embarrassment with all our injuries this tactic should have been abandoned and a punt up field with James chasing for it hassling the opposition's defenders would surely have been the more sensible and pragmatic approach.

Another week, another crucial injury. I am beginning to think we could have bought ten players in the transfer window, and we would still be struggling to put out a decent 11.
Bielsa tried hard to turn things around against the S©um, but we were terrifyingly weak at the back.
I suspect Liverpool will try to outdo Man City's score against, and they might succeed.
