Were he playing we might not be so many points adrift as we are now. Our problem has been scoring since he was suspended.

Think Byrne and especially Cashin have been very good tonight

Tbf our real problem is being docked 21 points and not being able to sign players. FTEFL

But we were still on target to survive. We have just lost 3 in a row for the first time this season despite being competitive in each game against modest oppositio. What were we missing?

Sickener. Morrison not offered enough again.

As said we just don't have enough goalscorers. Pointless scapegoating individuals. Over the season it has been an heroic effort, we are just too short of players.

I think we may now realise that the great romantic escape is over.

Not too bad in League 1 - Sunderland, Sheff Weds, Ipswich, Wigan, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Bolton.
Easy away days at Burton, Lincoln, Morecambe and Crewe

He was captain, he had no reason to touch the posh player. It was stupid and it has probably cost us survival.

I thought Morrison played well, in fact with Cashin and Byrne the best players.
We were very unlucky and I reckon their goal was a foul on Curtis.

As the old advert used to say. More reasons to not sign Morrison. Or something similar.

Rooney sounds gutted.

The forces waged against us this season have been unimaginable, all we can control though is the forces waged within.

Keep fighting til the end, that's all we ask. We're a lot better than a lot of teams in this league and capable of the odd shock result. There's still stuff to work on and improve on. Maybe tweak the MF a bit.

Players would be a God send now though.
