Good man Morninchile - great thread mate

Nice thread Chile! don't drink to much on Friday!

So then by the rules of the footballing god's Forest are the team to knock the Blades off of their perch!

Steve Cooper is the manager to get the tactics right for a game like this.

^^ For no other reason than I'm a Sheffield Wednesday fan, I'm going for a 1-0 win to Forest - good luck

Hey kitty - how’s League 1 treating you lot?

Hi ReV

We didn't start the season that well, too much tippy tappy football, and we had too many draws, but Darren Moore seems to have listened to what everyone was saying and changed the system, and we're now playing well and picking up points and keeping many clean sheets.

Got some influential players coming back from injury so the run in to the play offs is looking promising. Not counting any chickens yet, this is Wednesday after - well known for plucking defeat from the jaws of victory . . .

Yes.

Nice post, ‘chile. Life’s journey eh?

This game could be a cracker. The winner will make the playoffs I reckon. Maybe the loser will too but will have to work hard to get there.

I don’t think SC will take a chance with the LWB position, he knows Jack can do the job. Zinc starts just behind Davis and Johnson.

I think we have more goal threat, but Horvath will have a real tester.

A point from the blunts would be great, can’t see us winning. Our performances have dropped off a bit recently and Blunts away is going to be very tough. I was at ours for the 1-1 draw earlier in the season, and once they conceded they just sat back and whinged like a stuffed pig when we equalised. 1-1 tonight would be more than adequate, can’t see it being free flowing and entertaining, more a war of attrition, similar to PNE away. I must agree with the earlier comment which says they’ll make the play offs, imo along with Boro, Udders and a n other, could be us, but we’d need a few results to go our way, saying that, a lot of the top eight still have to play each other so it’s still relatively open. Tonight is a potential six pointer but won’t define either of our seasons.

I love this comment - you've hit the nail on the head - they are known to us as 'pigs'.

To be fair Chile always does good match threads but this is right up there with the best 😊

As he mentioned Oz, wouldn’t be right not to mention todays desperately sad news about Shane Warne! Sporting legend and Great personality. Can imagine the news is having a massive impact on Australia!

On Forest let’s hope for a season defining double this weekend

I'd echo your comments on Shane Warne, an all time great. I love to watch spin bowling and he was right up there. His first ball to Gatting? Unbelieveable

Chile, I remember taking my mum to see the first game of the season many years ago at home vs the Blades. She absolutely loved it, especially the chants of "Oo are you, oo are you" at the Utd fans. I seem to remember it was a 1-1 draw. She regretted never having gone before, although never went again, mind.

I liked Jack Robinson as a LB, but as one of three CBS? Nah. Go get him Brennan.
