To be fair I'm not sure how attractive a purchase Chelsea will be. Yeah you have got loads of trophies but your stadium is small in comparison with little scope to increase capacity so i'd imagine that it would be difficult for you to continue to pay some of the biggest wages in Europe let alone compete for the big name players.

Unless you get a similarly wealthy owner as Abramovich then your revenue streams won't compare with your near neighbours Spurs and Arsenal as we make far more every matchday.

As for financially competing with Man City, Man U and Newcastle then forget it!!!

Welcome to 2002.

Oh and if you are granted permission to either increase the current capacity at SB or move the stadium elsewhere then that expense will have to be factored into any new owner's budget. Think Spurs spent 1b so expect Chelsea to need to spend at least that or even more.

I think there should be a petition to strip Chelsea of all their titles under Roman .

His wealth came from suffering If you think about it - all that money taken out of Russia - the Russian population going hungry and cold, all so he can live it up - along with Putin and the rest of them (on the money that was stolen from the country.

We rightly acknowledge Ukrainians pain and suffering right now - the government should also think about the impact Putin and his oligarch cronies have had on his own people as well.

Think of all the killing and assassinations of Putins regime , and the oligarchs are guilty by association.

The premier league and the UK government shouldn’t be tarnished by this and should therefore set an example and strip Chelsea of all their titles won off of money gained from pain and suffering - that we cannot even begin to imagine.

At the end of the day, you were just a tin pot club before Roman came - You will be put back in your rightful place in history - pre Roman era .

I was 9 when when the premier league began and I remember your club before Roman came - you were like West Ham and Wimbledon level - that is what you are . Chelsea are a plastic club - a fake club - your recent history is built on the backs of pain and suffering

Just look at your history pre Abramovich - and get used to seeing your real record as a club - when your titles get stripped from you - you will take your rightful place in history as the tin pot - yo yo club - that is the real Chelsea .

"should emerge as one of the elite clubs in Europe"

Well lets look at the basic facts.

1. Any potential buyer will have to commit, what, around £500 million to bring your old, dated, small, leaky stadium into the 21st century.

2. Any potential buyer will have to consider how to maintain the club's reputation in the eyes of the world, post Russian influences that run through every aspect of the club. Let's be honest, Putin ain't stopping, so your Chairman's rep is getting worse every day that passes. And yeah, reputation is important to rich people or companies that might want to buy.
3. Any potential buyer is NOT gonna wan't to take on a £1.5 Billion loan commitment, particularly has he/she already has a £500m stadium commitment.
4. Any buyer will NOT be a rich individual who wants a plaything. No, it will be a company or group of people, who will 100% look to run it as a business. You know, a bit like Enic runs Spurs. Think how well that is going. Lol. No more spur of the moment £100m purchases for you, so not players like Haaland when he comes up. After all they will have spent everything available buying the club and building a stadium.

Yeah, starting to look less attractive by the minute right ?

Rubbish.

Arsenal built the Emirates and though stadium revenue was key. In fact commercial revenue was also key

Chelsea have had a bigger revenue than Arsenal in recent seasons:
