So the only leverage we really have is to hurt the regime economically, both through direct sanctions and by putting pressure on Putin's associates and proxies with individual sanctions. And I'm sure that just about every oligarch stationed in London is providing employment for a bunch of people in service industries. So I'm afraid we don't get to side-step this choice. Do the slain women and children in Ukraine, the elderly people who aren't mobile enough to get down to the shelter during shelling, matter less?
That is all on 'our' owner. Unless you think the fact that Middlesboro cant sell FA Cup tickets is some sort of worthy punishment.
