When City were 12 points clear the rival clubs had played 3 games less.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So City had a 12 point lead then yeah?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was 14 at one stage
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was it not 14 points when Chelsea drew 2-2 at Stamford Bridge with Liverpool??
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On 15 January after City beat Chelsea, it was 14 points with two games in hand for us. So effectively eight points.

I thought City were going to be fairly comfortable but it’s getting exciting now, well it is for Liverpool fans.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They'll still win it. They'll beat Liverpool at The Etihad like they always do when it matters.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You could say they've only beat us once at the Etihad when it has mattered, in the 18/19 season. We beat them there in the CL the season before.
Well they beat us in the 13/14 season there too actually.

Such a shame about our injuries, not saying we would have won it, but we would be a lot closer. Losing our two, if not best, then most influential players what’s been crucial

I would say we have:
De Gea
Varane
Pogba
Bruno
Maguire
Sancho
Shaw
Ronaldo
As genuine world class players. Yeah some of them haven't had great seasons like Maguire, but he is world class when he's in standard form. So too Shaw.

When City were 12 points clear the rival clubs had played 3 games less.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So City had a 12 point lead then yeah?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was 14 at one stage
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was it not 14 points when Chelsea drew 2-2 at Stamford Bridge with Liverpool??
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On 15 January after City beat Chelsea, it was 14 points with two games in hand for us. So effectively eight points.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No guarantee Liverpool would've won those games without Salah and Mane though to be fair.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure what point you're making here
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Clearly Liverpool are a lot worse off without those two so there's less chance of you winning...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well currently only one of the two are possibly injured.

No I mean AFCON when City were 14/15 clear... you didn't have them in that period and had to play 2 games.

Such a shame about our injuries, not saying we would have won it, but we would be a lot closer. Losing our two, if not best, then most influential players what’s been crucial

Yeah the two fullbacks are so crucial to Chelsea. Huge fan of James.
Better than Trent??

I think man utd will win the league because you told us all they would defo win the league.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Look I wasn't the only one saying we would win it. Maybe I was the most confident, but it looks like I got it wrong barring a miracle. We have too many world class players and it doesn't work. We remind me of that Real Madrid team from 2002-2006 that had world class stars everywhere but didn't win the league or UCL in that period.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
😂 too many world class players
I’ve heard it all now ….the shat you peddle is ridiculous
Even if a team can have too many world class players Man United definitely do not fall into that category
I can’t think of any other than Pogba and he can’t be bothered
Don’t even say Ronaldo ….he is good still but world class nah
I will stand by my original point though, how the fack can you have too many world class players

The point being it's better to have points in the bank than games in hand.

I would say we have:
De Gea
Varane
Pogba
Bruno
Maguire
Sancho
Shaw
Ronaldo
As genuine world class players. Yeah some of them haven't had great seasons like Maguire, but he is world class when he's in standard form. So too Shaw.
