A detective must know his stuff.
Sherlock, EHD whats your take on him?
He was a decent player but a bit of a . He'd play well for a few games then go back to being incapable of running past a player.
He gave us a right good laugh, Total wind up merchant
Didn't humour our ex-Celtic manager. Might go and offer him back to them.
Total wind up merchant
..
Aye right ye are...
Brutal player that Big Dan would leave for dead in a 100 yard dash.
Their new manager whoever he is might just take him
Sherlock meet Hector he is the resident clown.
Sherlock, I worked in a paper mill near Bury in the late 70's. Staid at the White Lion Hotel. Happy drunken days. .
Which paper mill? I like the White Lion during the day. At night the locals spoil it.
Sherlock my memory aint what it used to be. It was on the outskirts maybe 10 minutes in a car. It's claim to fame was that it was the birth place of the big dyed blonde barmaid in coronation street
Don't watch Coronation Street Do you know the actress/ characters name?
HEYWOOD...That's it Sherlock.
As for the actress she is probably dead now. Her name'll come to me eventually .
Coronation Street? Ach it's no River City.
And Blackburn fan! Get your team sorted! I want DG scoring goals!!
Well remembered, that's t'other side of Bury from me. Not sure if there are any paper mills still there.
I want DG scoring goals!!
That would be nice, we need to stop conceding first.
Yeah Sherlock not a lot of paper mills left now but I've been to a few in that kind of area , Bolton ,Radliffe and god knows where else, It's all a bit of a drunken blur now. I will always have happy memories of Bury though .
At least someone is happy with the place
Well the place was fine when I left it about 40 year ago Sherlock, what have you done to it since.
