My fave Bottom episode is the one with the seeexxx aftershave spray thingy. If I’m not mistaken it’s the one with the Falklands veteran too 😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are wrong
The seex spray is the very first episode
The falklands vet is series 2 - they Nick his fake leg, pawn it and use the proceeds to place a bet
----------------------------------------------------------------------
'Cry, did you?'
'No, the opposite.'
'What, you sucked water in through your eyeballs?'
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Policeman: your newspaper is upside down
Eddie: so are my eyes
Dating agency lady: Hitler, any relation
Eddie: I have a mother
Dating agency lady: I meant Adolph

Monty Python’s Flying Circus is always worth watching back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As a kid I probably knew the entire Drury Lane show off by heart.
Now, the sketch I tend to go back to first is when the newly-weds are buying a new bed and they can't say the word 'mattress' to the shop assistant
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’ve just found out all of it is on Netflix.
My favourite Monty Python sketch is Philosophers Football, it’s superb.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haha, what was it he said to blackadder when he turned up to discuss the plan for war ?
“Just a short back & sides please”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He did indeed. And then, when getting ready for his date with ‘Gorgeous Georgina’, he asks Darling: ‘Moustache? Bushy enough?’

Blackadder
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which series or all of them?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All
However my favourite series is 2 and the episode potato with a brilliant performance by Tom Baker as captain rum. YouTube Edmund hires a boat.
My favourite moment though is from the final episode in series one when Edmund gets his gang of cutthroats together to overthrow the king and there's a scene done like a spaghetti western with music to the show and the pictures of the gang appearing on the screen
Never fails to make me laugh.
Obviously the final episode is brilliant and poignant considering it's a comedy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Love all four series of them but the best character bar none out of the entire series is General Melchett in goes forth, Stephen Fry is just superb
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What was the name of the pigeon. Speckled Jim was it!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s the one, the one he hand reared from a chick
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s the little phrases he often muttered under his breath, like when blackadder decided to join the 20 minuters, Melchett said something like you’re okay to marry my sister and when blackadder said are you sure, he muttered “absolutely, you should hear the noise she makes when she eats a boiled egg”
The way he delivers it is pure gold
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That was the other line I was thinking of, as well as the 'facts in the face' one I mentioned above.
I also like 'the greatest victory since the Winchester flower arranging team beat Harrow by 12 sore bottoms to 1'.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haha, what was it he said to blackadder when he turned up to discuss the plan for war ?
“Just a short back & sides please”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Melchett: it’s a vast desolate landscape out there
Darling: the maps the wrong way round sir
Peep Show is very rewatchable. Never even has a bad season which is rare for a show with that many seasons.

Ofah, inbetweeners, it crowd, father Ted. Those are always good repeat views. Don’t tend to revisit stuff I’ve watched before, unless it’s films like aliens.
Chernobyl as blood mentioned- I wouldn’t rewatch, but it was brilliant. The original house of cards I haven’t got around to, but apparently is brilliant.
Inbetweeners is just too fooking cringe to rewatch for me. I was in secondary school when it came out, enjoyed it then.
It crowd is a good shout. Can watch that forever.
My go to shows if just looking for easy background entertainment are Inbetweeners or any of the Ricky Gervais shows, primarily the Office but Extras also. The Wire I have gone through twice, which is comfortably the best show of all time.
Sopranos is the one show that gets better whenever you rewatch it. Think I've seen it about 4 times, will probably watch it again in the next few months.

Agree
Watched hole series 4/5 times n caught a few eps lassed weekend n was better than ever
Will’s mum on the Inbetweeners. Yes. Yes please.
Ricky Gervais makes some great shows, but I just find something very off about him. Very obnoxious face.
Season 1 of Sopranos with Tonys mamma connive 2 get him whacked is A++ n Carmella pulling out the AK-47 when thort cops were coming
4zar, did u watch the sopranos film? I was looking forward to it but everybody said it was not grate. So I avoided it
