Roofe had his back to goal the entire game, and I struggle to remember one instance where he held it up, got us up the park and played it on
Morelos does that about 5 times every 10 minutes....we are a completely different team without that out ball
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I feel for you missing your main striker...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I feel like Kyogo is turning into a bit of a myth. A quick glance at the top scorers says he has played 14 games for Celtic, scoring 8. The oft-slated Giakoumakis has the same number of goals having played one more game but fewer minutes, but neither of them are Celtic's top scorer (that would be Abada on 9). Kyogo made a great start to his Celtic career, sure, but he's not a key player for the team the way Morelos is for us. And that's a good thing for Celtic, because we've seen enough times what happens when a team is overly dependent on one player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well if that helps you get over this defeat then hood for you.

First goal is a great run McGregor that sets it up, Bassey really should be doing batter
Second goal is poor defending at a set piece
Don't see where Ryan Jack is at fault for either...that's all I'm saying...and he helped break your play up throughout the game, but as said, mattered little as when he passed it on, we done fck all up top with it

Doesn't have to be the 60s
You still need players that are not going to shirk a tackle when it's needed
And when did Lennon ever score a volley form the edge of the box or hit a screamer in an old firm and hit the bar
You clearly don't watch us enough to see what Jack offers that others like Kamara don't....the amijt of ground he covers is immense

First goal is a great run McGregor that sets it up, Bassey really should be doing batter
Second goal is poor defending at a set piece
Don't see where Ryan Jack is at fault for either...that's all I'm saying...and he helped break your play up throughout the game, but as said, mattered little as when he passed it on, we done fck all up top with it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ryan Jack is a bang average Aberdeen level player and you're kidding yourself if you think otherwise.
He runs about bumping into folk and making 5 Yard passes. Contributes nothing of value.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Disagree
Makes a difference in our midfield, bit of fight that's only matched by Lundstram these days....also makes a difference when he plays for Scotland imho
----------------------------------------------------------------------
'A bit of fight'
It's not the 60's.
You need a lot more from a guy in a key midfield position.
He doesn't get near the Scotland midfield when everyone is fit for a competitive game.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Delusional straw clutching.
As soon as he's fully fit he's in that team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be honest...I hope he is
Not having played since Christmas, he might be $hite
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I suppose its possible.

I think our manager has far more of a clue as to how to set up a team and when to bring in or drop players. He’ll manage Kyogo to best effect

Guy is so composed on the ball and constantly found space to give your defence an out ball

I'm not sure that's a logical conclusion based on what I said. They are both decent spfl level midfielders. Kamara probably the better of the two.

A slim Neil Lennon

Probably not quite as good as Lennon but the same idea.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye, these days. Lenny's let himself go a fair bit though.

Those two spfl level midfielders have been an integral part of a team that's reached...at least....the last 16 of the Europa League for the past 3 seasons
But you batter on

Pumped out against leverkusen last year including going utterly hounded at home.
An embarrassing points total from an average group this season.
They're not very good.
