The arsenal directors would have no problem sanctioning the transfer if we offered good money (they seem to have no quelms with selling when the price is good, adebayor, toure etc)

those 2 went because the time was right for them to go, both had personal problems, adebayor with everyone and toure mainly with gallas.

As much as i agree that theo would do you some good, he would for pretty much any side... and the size of the bid necessary to make arsenal even think of selling him, i think, would be beyond liverpool's resources.

Of course Wallcott would be a fantastic signing but I think there would be close to no hope. How much would we have to bid, to have it accepted? There are some many minus' in the deal. One being price. Two being would they sell him to us? Three being would he want to come to us?

Just won't happen. But we need someone with his pace desperately! That is the one area we are clearly lagging behind the teams above us and we can't replace several players with slightly faster player so instead we need two players with blistering pace to give us that extra edge.

We do need pace on either flank, but they also need to be able to cross the ball and Walcott can't!
