There's nothing wrong with his pace. He's quick without being rapid. Plenty of top players have similar pace or less than him and are/were very effective players.
He's more of a subtle & short link up type of player than a traditional winger. But we don't play like that. I don't really know what we play like. Attacking players seem to regress badly when they come to United.
He'd be brilliant in that City team... Players like Mahrez or Ziyech are not rapid. They're quick with good feet and their attributes compliment the style of their teams.
It just can't be a coincidence at this point this players like Sancho, Rashford, Martial, Donny have regressed or not hit the heights displayed at previous clubs. Bruno has dropped off quite a lot and Pogba looks a different animal for France.
Sancho been terrible most of the season. Insaid it ages ago Lingard should be playing and Sancho shouldn’t be playing at all. All he does is waste every attack. Sancho is master of not finding a teammate in the box when in behind. He actually reminds me of a crap Depay. I even called it when we signed him he seems like Depay, does nothing but looks good in a weak league.
His passing is so inconsistent. I heard a lot about his playmaking skills at Dortmund but have yet to see it at United.
Also, his defensive work rate is pretty atrocious. In the final few minutes, a 37-year old Ronaldo literally sprinted back towards our LB position to close down an opposition Sancho was barely jogging.
Think he's been a very underwhelming signing so far tbh with you. Definitely going to reserve full judgement until he's had a full season under Ten Hag.
He may have been better than the current Marcus Rashford but he's not been as good as Rashford in his previous seasons for us. Not even close really.
I'm expecting big things next season from him.
His promising weeks consisted of him just nabbing a goal or two. Didn’t think his performances really picked up that much. I’ve said it before. Sancho, like Hudson odoi, doesn’t excel at any one thing. He’s good at many things about not great at anything

Mahrez and ziyech are great at things though, both have a wand of a left foot. Mahrez is a top tier dribbler, passer, crosser and even finisher
he’s got potential to be great, but we’ll need to do the right business in the summer to get the best out of him and ten Hag
Think he'll do really well under ten hag
I like him, he's great in tight areas and he works really well with quick thinking players which is probably why he's looked very ordinary with us.
Let's see what the next man tries to implement and how he adapts to it before we judge him.

They did. By a good bit as well.
Fair enough vc, I watch most Utd games and can’t agree.
Yah he seems to lack pace or any sort of acceleration.
Really poor season for him overall

That's nonsense
Sancho is a system player who needs a clearly-defined way of playing, and one which plays to his strengths (short link-up play, teams playing a high line against him) to flourish. He'd excel in the right system, just as we saw when he looked like one of the brightest young prospects in world football playing for Dortmund. It's mistaken to think he's a bad player, but he's not going to do well in the current United set-up. If I were him, I'd see what Ten Hag can do in terms of setting up United; if things don't improve, I'd go at the end of next season if I were Sancho and try to relaunch his career much in the way Depay did once he left United.
I rate him, he's a good player, doesn't get flustered, good control.
Pace isn't everything, James had pace, Sancho is better.
James was way better for us. He lacked end finish but he terrorised defences and pulled oppositions apart which led to goals for us.
No point judging a new player who has come into a disjointed team.

I'm actually sincerely glad you watch a lot of united games, I think it's good that football fans that don't support us at least watch us enough to have a valid opinion of us and know how bad/once in a blue moon good we are. It's very frustrating times for us, although I think for many of us United supporters it's gone past frustration and more acceptance of where we are currently.

He didn't terrorise defenses. His tracking back was very good though.
He'll be fine.
Need's to work in a team with a proper shape

No he does not lack pace or any acceleration. He just isn’t as quick as Rashford used to be.
If we are to have any chance v Liverpool perhaps his intelligence against a high line will be vital. Liverpool are a terrific team but they do take risks at the back. It usually works for them but I am hoping we'll have a season's best performance in Tuesday to at least make a game of it. We could be dangerous in behind them if we can get enough of the ball in good areas.
I did wonder how he would cope with the move to the prem. Had my doubts but i think he still needs another season for you guys before really judging.
Moussa Diaby looks electric though if you were looking for a winger from the bundesliga.

My old roommate and best mate is a Utd fan. Plus they’re a massive club. I watch them probably 20-30 times a year. Utd have issues with patterns of play and rely on individual brilliance but sancho either way I’m not sure if he is great at any one thing
