He's been absolute cack in my opinion.
I feel like people on these boards are over rating really minor things that he does in games.
"Oh wow Sancho made a pass he's amazing", "oh Sancho scored, SANCHOOOOOOOOOO!!! worth every penny".
Almost as if the United fans here are ashamed to say he's been a failure this season because of how badly they have wanted him for so many years.

If you think Sancho is the issue, you don’t understand football. He’s playing in a system that doesn’t suit him even remotely, surrounded by players that don’t suit him either.
Sancho is a top top player, he has so many fantastic attributes for a guy his age, and has proven his talent already several seasons over.

We do not play like dortmund, we do not have players or a style that suit him at all.
The issue is the team + 3x managers he’s had already within 1 season, about to be 4.

Sancho will benefit enormously from ETH, and this article already is, but will only look more ignorant as time goes on

No point judging a new player who has come into a disjointed team.

This is true tho... But not when it comes to Maguire

Thats normal for fans though, you want him to be a success so you look for all the good things.

We did the same with Keita for 2 seasons. He's only now starting to perform at the level we want/expected.

I did wonder how he would cope with the move to the prem. Had my doubts but i think he still needs another season for you guys before really judging.

Moussa Diaby looks electric though if you were looking for a winger from the bundesliga.

Nobody looks good at United at the minute anyway. It's toxic and we frequently, in fact invariably, get players playing well below their ability levels. It's just a case of how quickly and how badly they'll perform.

He could be brilliant for us in the future, but the policy of 2 or 3 in, 2 or 3 out needs to end. Wholesale changes required and a proper reset required. The number of players leaving in the summer at the end of their deals thankfully necessitates such changes anyway.

I do take Nick's point though in terms of no outstanding attributes. What I would say though is his close control, dribbling, passing and finishing all looked good at Dortmund. Certainly good enough to be a success at United, in the right circumstances.

His defensive work is really poor. Whilst we can point to Telles/ Shaw for a lot of mistakes, Sancho needs to work back and follow the opposition full back more often.

I think he will do better with movement around him, his link up play is the best part of his game but he has had a very underwhelming season.

I have faith he will come good. No two ways about it though, his first season has been atrocious

Nickasaurus so can you explain how we managed more shots on target than the opposition in 14 of our last 15 games? Also how can we rely on individual brillanve when we have the worst record in the top flight at finishing since Rangnick got the job creating most chances in all competitions yet have near the worst record for big chances finished and 20th best side on XG scored for actual XG since he got the job?

Man Utd have terrible individual players, honestly Werner level finishing is most of our squad. People saying how great Ronaldo is but he has been gullty of a lot of our best chances missed a long with Fernandes in games we dropped points in.

I honestly think this is the worst strikeforce we had in the PL. I think only 04-05 season comes close really.

04-05 we lost Fa Cup final in a final that is the most one sided final in FA Cup history as we missed like 8 big chances. We scored 58 league goals when we had 617 shots the most in the league by far that season.

That is the only side I can remember that was worse than this side at finishing.

Put it this way Werner would look world class if he played for Man Utd.

Just to say how bad our strikeforce is, Greenwood is our outright 3rd highest scorer and he has been missing since end of January. Thats how terrible our forwards we have. Interesting to see Werner has Chelsea best minutes per goal record at 168 per one.

Werner scored 10 goals, he would be our 2nd highest scorer. For Chelsea he is 4th.

I think actually looking at it Werner level of finishing would have us like 3rd in the league.

This is how we started last season. We have it in us to be shocking in front of goal for a small period.
