This is no contest. Lewa for sure

If it was top players then there'd be more of a debate.

Lewa
Benzema
Mbappe
Salah
Kane

From that list, and based on career, Lewandowski is the only one in the contest.

Mbappe may become an equal - time and career choices will tell.

As for the others, there are better out there, but we're not allowed to venture away from the list of 5 apparently ........

Salad doesn't really play up top like most of them do. That is what makes his numbers more impressive I feel.
Lewa has numbers in the league and CL that are just bonkers. He has to be out in front. Benzema has done well too but his goal tally suffered when Ronaldo was there, being the centre of the teams focus.

If you were to just use goals scored in the last 5 years, it’s:
Lewa
Mbappe
Salah
Kane
Benzema

Weird seeing a list of strikers with no Messi and Ronaldo.

Lewa, and then some other people.

Mbappe is a hype machine. He plays in a minor league and 22 goals in 31 games for PSG isn’t outstanding.

PSG get knocked out whenever the going gets tough. He really needs a move, feels like he’s treading water and has been for a while.

Lewandowski is the most complete no9.

Kane and Benzema are 9 and a halfs they’re next. Benzema then Kane.

Salah the best inside forward.

Lewa and benzema

I wouldn't class Salah and perhaps Mbappe as strikers and for that reason it would be difficult to put them above the other three. If you said in order of top five players then I'd put those two at the top however.

Mostly based on their records and the leagues they play in.

Kane doesn't score goals anymore so should be in the Firmino/Joelinton/Weghorst category. Although they do actually score goals

scoring in Germany doesnt exactly mean much. Werner was prolific there

Look at the standard of teams over all in the German Bundesliga
half of them wouldn't be even in the Premier league..
Until the likes of Lewandowski played in England or Spain. I wouldnt take his numbers serious.

Of course none were better than the two Scots.
Denis Law and
Kenny Dalglish

And I'm not joking, they would be a revalation

I’d agree with that. Not really sure the op works when some of them play different positions.

Not really

You mean Hazard and Coutinho who were the best players in the PL? Hazard absolutely dominated the PL, breezing past English defences with ease for years. Then goes to Spain and looks like a Sunday league player.
