Tbf the op is a bit if an idiot.

Makes post after post about how bad the management of the squad has been, yet still expects top class performances from a player in his first season at the club....just so we can clear it up op once and for all, which one is it... the players or the manager this season?

The club being poorly run isn't an excuse for professional footballers not being capable of doing the very basic things on the pitch.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's his first season, sometimes players don't produce their best straight away, particularly in a team that's struggling. You must have observed this phenomenon elsewhere.

Neither Saka and Foden have pace, but they are very clever and efficient. Sancho needs to learn from them

United players either don't have to give their best, cant be bothered to give their best, or have forgotten what to do to give their best.

As sheet as Sancho has been, you also have to look at the effort made from players like de bruyne today.

E.g. look at Mahrez in the first minute, he didn't do anything special really, walked past a couple of players that thought there was 0 threat then he dips in a ball to a player busting an absolute gut to get into the box.
I've not seen that from our players, nobody really busts a gut cos nobody fooking cares.

I'm giving the players a clean slate for the new season with ten slags, if the players are still the same they can all go get fooked and I won't bother wasting my time watching them get paid 200 grand a week for doing zilch.

One plays in a squad purpose built for a world class manager over a period of 6 years, one has literally just walked in the door of an absolute clown show with no real direction.

Can't refute any of this sadly.

We are an absolute joke of a club with all the gear but no idea.

Sancho has looked much better as the season has gone on. Thought he was excellent against Arsenal. Hopefully ETH keeps the improvement going and we might just see his Dortmund numbers

We don’t even have all the gear.

Sancho deserves another season.

The euros clearly have hit his confidence. And it's his first season in a new league.

We have much bigger problems than him.

Also foden may well be the best young player in the world not called haaland or mbappe.

Foden was way off the pace tonight tbh.

Really? Thought he was unplayable at at times. Some of the touches were out of this world. Scored a nice goal and always looked a threat on the left.

He looked tired in the 2nd half and didn't really go on any of his mazy runs. Kept passing the ball to Zinchenko when he would normally take players on.

There's a great clip on Youtube of Sancho and Foden playing in City's youth team.

Sancho was being subbed but refused to shake Foden's hand who was coming on to replace him, Foden just shrugs his shoulders.

Thought that too. It’s all relative as he’ll still have a couple of moments of great play but didn’t think it was a good game for him at all.

I think he's still shellshocked from that Atleti game.

This is what happens when our fans are so used to watching shiiiiiit football.

I’ve read a few reports of the game now and all the pundits get it wrong too tbh.

Every player that joins Utd seems to transform to Space Jam basketball players after the aliens have taken their talent. Must have few of those lurking at Carrington.

Fan favourite Joe Hart had just won both a Premier League winners medal and the Golden Gloves award when Pep joined City.

It was also reported than he was the unelected shop steward for the players and voiced open objections to the style of play Pep was trying to introduce.

A month later he was loaned out to Torino, never to return.

If ETH comes in with the same mindset, you might start your journey on the road to recovery.

definitely too early to say sancho is a flop even though I was one of the most critical of us signing sancho

my problem with sancho was that at bvb he was a player playing in a really good setup and essential got plaudits for doing simple things like he was the second coming of cr7. At one point, I remember many on here raging that we had not met bvbs asking price of 140million
Sancho is a good player in the right team/setup. The priority should have been getting the team/setup right before getting a player like sancho. I said as much about pogbas signing too, hopefully he is not pogbba mk2

foden is just a better player. Sancho should improve with ETH in.
