While there are parachute payments it will not be a level playing field. Bigger squads make a big difference
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I get what your saying....Bournemouth cheated in the first place to get that parachute money....when we went up we did it with no money
Can’t argue with the result, but yet again let down by very officials, absolutely NO WAY Surridge was offside, clear penalty. When are they going actually make these clowns explain their decisions. Second half we never got going, Johnson was fouled every time he got near the ball, but nothing given. Stupid free kick to give away, as the muff player had over run the ball, but a well worked free kick. My fear is ‘udders could do exactly what did Bournemouth did to us. As I said before, anyone but Boro in the play offs, Luton ideally. It was nice while I tasted but as someone on here once said ….. it’s the hope that gets you.
‘it was nice while it lasted but as someone.. (bloody iPad)
Just not our night tonight but we have to hope we stay motivated and Davies and possibly Grabban are back.
Attwell has apologised to Cooper for some of his decisions!
Too late now Stuart!
It wasn’t Attwell that gave the offside, to be fair he tried to let the game flow. I’m no fan of VAR but would love too know what it would have made of that penalty call.

The issue is this has now happened in the two games we have lost - Luton the officials got 3 major decisions wrong and now in this game. It has cost us the chance of auto and may ultimately cost us promotion all together - who knows. An apology is meaningless as it changes nothing.

We can't meet until the final
Not quite sure what you mean about...they're the type of team we thrive against?
We won the league game at the City ground...you certainly wasn't thriving that day
At least with (Tw)Attwell apologising it makes it all ok. The duffers at Luton were just as bad, but these are supposed to be Premier League ref’s, no wonder they have VAR to make the decision for them. Surely at some point they have to be held to account, a bit like politicians, they stick their head in the sand, and wait for the problem to go away. Mike Reilly is their equivalent of Barking Boris, back the troops no matter what.
Come the play offs everything goes out the window, the team that finishes sixth has the least pressure, so often thrives. We are hopeless at semi finals, whilst the Blunts have played four finals without scoring once. Nothing to choose between any of the four that make it, I certainly wouldn’t put money on any of them.

It’s a fairly simple statement. You’re not a physical side. You’ll try and attack us and I’d rather play that sort of team than a physical side who lump balls to a big striker (e.g Moore). I’m well aware we can’t meet until final. Last time we player we destroyed you and don’t come back saying it was your B team because it wasn’t
