The league isnt weak at all, or if it is the entire rest of the world is shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not just the league being weak mate it’s all of Europe
Only seems to happen though when we are challenging
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really. Liverpool were the best team in Europe in the 70s and 80s. They didn't routinely win 15 games in a row. As is the case for both them and City now and has been the case for about a decade in terms of the disparity in this league.
The record points tally for a league champion was 95 until 2018. That tally is now par for champions. Yes Liverpool and City are class but it shouldn't be seen as ridiculous to suggest the rest of the league is crap. It is
----------------------------------------------------------------------
City and Liverpool are two teams. That they are so far ahead of the rest of the division doesn’t provide a reason for the rest of the league being rubbish.
You say 95 points is par for the champions. That’s credit to the champions and the challenger (whichever one of City and Liverpool that may be).
But what is par for CL qualification? How much has that changed? Europa qualification? Top ten qualification? Points needed to stay up?
Those figures haven’t altered nearly as much as the points needed to win the league - points only City and Liverpool have proven capable of getting.
Arent west ham and leicester in latter stages of european football?
As are city and liverpool. Chelsea got to quarters. It is the strongest league by far
What I would say, is how apathetic I feel toward Liverpool and City dominating.
Fair play to them, I don’t understand the bitterness from fans all around the country for the 20 years we dominated.

When did West Ham last win a league game? The fact they can rest their team and focus purely on European games whilst still being in contention for top 6 isn't a glowing endorsement of their domestic league tbf

What's this now?
Klopp has 'forced through' a rule change has he?
You're clearly on the wum. Have a nice day.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well the rule change was voted on 6 occasions. And it was rejected on 5. But he kept bringing it back to the table until it went through. And now that the rule has been introduced, it won't be voted on again. It's "democracy" in the loosest sense of the word.

Was that inaccurate? Was it not a rule change that was voted on time and time again? And once it was eventually voted in favour of, it was set in stone? I mean, if I'm incorrect on that, fair enough. If I am correct though, it's certainly not a great example of democracy. Jurgen will get to rotate his squad more easily though, so all is right with the world

Imagine how good West Ham must be to be able to do that? Europa semi and still only 7th in the league. Leicester are what? 11th in the league but they're in the Conference league semis. That's a strong league.
And West Ham don't rest their team, they rotate their team.
When United were dominant in the 90s and 2000’s, was there talk then of the league being of lesser quality?
There probably was, from fans of clubs who were lesser quality than United.
That we now have United fans talking of the league being of lesser quality tells you all you need to know.
They are saying the league is of lesser quality, and the funny thing about this is that United are so bad they are still struggling in it.
