Would that be wise resting players for the playoffs??

Personally I want us to put out our normal 11 and try and grab 3rd spot and start the playoffs with good momentum and finish on a high!

Not sure who I want us to play because league form goes out of the window for these games...it really is a lottery and the team that most deserves it usually doesn't win them..

In 2017 we got absolutely battered by Fulham 4-1 at our place 3 weeks before the playoffs...they ended up losing to reading in the semis and we beat reading at Wembley

I think the team that will win overall is the one with most bottle..but if there is any footballing justice it will be one of us 2 who have ran the promoted teams close

Perhaps the ref can get his apology in first, before the Dull game. To apologise after the final whistle is like rubbing salt into an open wound, unfortunately the majority of prem ref’s will always favour the home team, which is what happened last night. I’d expect at least half a dozen changes for the Dull game, Cook, Yates, possibly DJed, and maybe a couple of others. Don’t risk any suspensions, or anyone carrying a knock. Dull were unlucky at our place, in fact I think they got a ref’s apology for a penalty decision. Both us and ‘udders can play anyone of four teams, so there is no advantage either way. Despite feeling very deflated after last night, we have to remember games like Swansea and the Baggies to bring the confidence back. Going into the playoffs after two defeats would be morale sapping, so let’s make sure that doesn’t happen and win on Saturday. I’ve stated before, anyone but Boro in the playoffs, and I’d be happy, playing them and losing Spence is worse case scenario. Forest to win 2-0.

Harry Arter has ended his loan spell at Meadow Lane early and returned to the club.

He couldn't could he?

Apparently he was no where near good enough to get in the Charlton team, so my guess is no he can’t 🤣

Difference is that if you rested your first team then it would be two weeks without a game and you may lose a bit.

Due to playing catch-up with games in hand we have been putting a lot on our players and with some injuries in the squad rotating Colback/Yates/Garner/Spence & Johnson not been an option until now.

My feeling is the 10 days or so between Bournemouth and first Playoff game for us is just about right to rest recover and go again fresher

Unbelievable, after the complete cluster feck of Tuesday night, the EFL are introducing VARfor the playoffs, talk about closing the stable door after the horse has bolted. They admit they screwed us over at Bournemouth, now they want to try and do it again. Just shows how much faith they have in their precious premier league officials.

I think it’s good it’s being introduced. Too much at stake on these games for it be determined by an error by the officials. I also think the Championship should adopt it anyway in the normal season. Obviously, it cuts both ways tho (as we’ve probably benefited when we shouldn’t have previously) but if the technology is there, then use it.

If Keinan Davis isn't fit, we're reliant on balls over the top with Surridge & Johnson/Spence playing on the shoulder of the last man.
Var should play us onside hopefully. Although our midfield shouldn't get overrun against other play off teams.

I believe VAR costs over £60k per game, hope the EFL are paying, had it been there Tuesday we’d be in the box office seat for auto’s, EFL sucks, only does what is convenient for them. They could be twinned with the clowns that run Formula 1, another set of criminals.

When we did have VAR in that Liverpool game, an offside to the mortal eye was subsequently proved not to be.

It has to work in our favour at some point….hopefully soon!

Lewis-Potter could cause problems down our left if he switches over there.

I’m looking forward to seeing Panzo. He has looked good when I’ve watched the U23s. Likes to carry the ball out.

I hope I haven’t jinxed his afternoon.

As long as we don't lose our superior g/d we will be alright.

Bit strange listening to RN. Most of our away games since Christmas have been on Sky. Forest TV for overseas only. Glad they have the £7 million man. I prefer him to Laws or Sutton.

Fulham field a strong team against Sheffield Utd. Blades could miss out.

I feel a little deflated after Tuesday night, anyway perhaps this second string will pull off a win.
