Neither Martinelli chance was a sitter. Same idiotic hyperbole as last week when Nketiah allegedly missed countless sitters, despite all his chances being self made and outside the box.

Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks this. I thought he was our best player today despite Eddie's goals and Odegaard having some lovely flicks.
Not saying you won’t get a result but to compare us with a Chelsea team that has completely stopped playing this season and a West Ham team with other priorities is wrong ….we have a lot more motivation than them
We will be a much different proposition for you
I do think it will be a draw though but will still go to the last game as you will drop points against newcastle next Monday but we will beat Burnley at the weekend
---
Why do you expect us not to go an win at Newcastle given the fact that they have nothing to play for? Also to dismiss Burnley so easily is a mistake if the likes of Southampton, Brighton and Wolves can go there and get a result then Burnley can and they definately do have something to play for.

I know newcastle have nothing to play for but when it’s your last home game of the season and it’s 8pm kick off under the lights it ramps it up
If you were playing them at 3pm on a Saturday I wouldn’t be so confident but the crowd up there get bang up for it especially in evening games
Also, and I realise this will rile you lot up,I think you are shat and have had huge slices of luck at the right times
I really don’t think you are a good side at all with no one other than Saka as a good player and Arteta is out of his depth and you will sack him next season at some point
You are where you are cos we messed up that’s all ….we are a better team , squad and have a better manager

We have 66 points with 3 games left. The average needed for 4th in 70. Last 2 seasons have been 66 and 67 points.
We have taken 21 points from 27 against the 5 teams who have been in the fight for 3rd and 4th this season - more than any of the others.
We are there very much on merit.

You've just admitted you're not being neutral as you disregard all the luck Tottenham have had. Nearly a month off to give your squad a pre-season under a new manager, own goal being your 3rd top scorer, forfeiting a European competition without any punishment.
Arsenal have had to rely on a squad of mainly youth, developing them while also needing them to come up with the goods. Our most experienced players getting big injuries too (Tomiyasu, Partey, Tierney). Relying on Holding, Cedric, Tavares, Elneny, Nketiah for large parts of the season.
Spurs haven't messed up anything. You deserve to be where you are. Things can change in these last 3 games though, so there's no need to reveal your bitterness just yet.
Since the transfer window shut (a timeframe that gives Conte 3 months in the job to get his style in, new transfers bedded in and all your key players fit - plus the time Arsenal haven't had a striker):
Spurs played 15, won 8, Drew 2, lost 5 - 26 points.
Arsenal played 14, won 10, drew 0, lost 4 - 28 points.
"Out of his depth" Arteta is outperforming Conte despite the latter having the striker quality of Kane and Son compared to the former having "no strikers worth a pissss" and a "woeful" squad depth!!
It's also nobody's fault but Conte's that he is too afraid to move from a back 3. Sit back and counter. You might have had more success if you opened up against smaller teams.
Also, and I realise this will rile you lot up,I think you are shat and have had huge slices of luck at the right times
I really don’t think you are a good side at all with no one other than Saka as a good player and Arteta is out of his depth and you will sack him next season at some point

Your opinion which I obviously don't agree with. When I look at your team I see two half decent players the rest are just functional, needless to say I wouldn't take any of the rest of your players. If we do finish fourth and we've pretty much played the majority of the season without a striker what does that say about your lot not finishing above us?
Not to mention the "out of his depth" manager has won more trophies than spurs have in the last 30 years or so
That's actually awful, not trying to take the piiiss or anything.

Saka is brilliant but he is by no means carrying us this season. Collectively, the majority of our team are playing their part and the team have shown a lot of character to win close games. The defense has largely been good and lots of players have chipped in with goals.
Conte is an excellent manager and Kane and Son are excellent players. Kulusevski has been very good for you and I was annoyed you signed him (albeit as a loan) as I'd have loved him at Arsenal.
The two teams are likely to finish quite closely together in the league and that demonstrates we are pretty evenly matched.
Arteta is still learning but it feels like he had tried more than "oh I need the right wing backs or my football just won't work".
That was probably quite a riled up answer so fair play to you.
Arsenal fans know deep down Spurs are well in this race still hence why they are very cautious. They know and they can smell a twist.
Blackpolespur, I'm not saying this to be rude, but your posts on this article (specifically the last two) are some of the stupidest things I've ever read.
It's no wonder your team don't win anything when they have fans like you who refuse to accept any responsibility of their own club's decisions and always focus on the misgivings/problems of others and always point to external factors.

It seems to be Spurs fans that have put Arsenal down for 5 guaranteed dropped points.
Not sure why we can’t be confident beating you at home considering our record there against you and what’s riding on it. That’s not arrogance at all. We feel we can win the next 2 which then puts you under big pressure to go Newcastle away with us possibly 4th.

The reason you're posting all this stuff is because you never expected us to be in 4th after the Chelsea, United, West Ham and Leeds games.
You thought (and as did I tbf) that Spurs would wrap up 4th comfortably, but that hasn't happened and it bothers you.
Whether you want to accept it or not, even if we lose the NLD in the worst case scenario, 4th is still in our hands. And whilst we have a very tough game against Newcastle away afterwards, you also have a potential banana skin against Burnley who are fighting to stay in the division.
There's no problem with you expecting to win at your ground against us. But don't think that you'll automatically be getting 4th if you do. Because that's what your posts come across as.
