Blackpolespur, I'm not saying this to be rude, but your posts on this article (specifically the last two) are some of the stupidest things I've ever read.

It's no wonder your team don't win anything when they have fans like you who refuse to accept any responsibility of their own club's decisions and always focus on the misgivings/problems of others and always point to external factors.

You just come across as pathetic and bitter if I'm honest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Firstly I was just having a pop at our rivals before our biggest NLD in years …pretty normal and all in good spirit ….I’m hardly going to say I love you am I ….can’t even be bothered to look back at what I said but I’m sure it was probably bollicks 👍

However I can’t take any responsibility for my clubs decisions as I’m not on the board

Pathetic and bitter ? No

Taking the pee out of our rivals ? Yep

What I have found out is you guys are as nervous as me about it as the reaction was fierce 👍

West Ham played the likes of Bowen and Rice, and on the same day Leicester played a far weaker XI against Spurs - yet their fans don't seem to acknowledge that when they are coming out with these ridiculous theories of teams throwing games.

That is how deluded they are. They seem to think they have a juggernaut of a team with a world class manager and are on terms with City and Liverpool
Deluded, arrogant little caaaants.

Blackpolespur,

Everything you said was about how lucky we are, how rubbish we are in your view, how we have very few good players etc etc....it's all focused on us, and you refused to acknowledge the pitfalls Spurs have and the difficulties you have endured this season.

If we pip you to 4th, it's because we deserve to be there. Not because of luck, not because the refs were against you, not because of other teams not trying against us but putting in worldie performances against you...but because we were able to get more points than you.

And the same goes if you pip us to 4th too. I will have no complaints.

But if you're constantly going to discredit the opposition, and fail to acknowledge your own flaws, then you will never get anywhere. And that doesn't just go for football, that's with most things in life.

You may well get CL football. But right now, it's not in your hands. And if you beat us on Thursday, it still won't be in your hands.

Not sure why we can’t be confident beating you at home considering our record there against you and what’s riding on it. That’s not arrogance at all. We feel we can win the next 2 which then puts you under big pressure to go Newcastle away with us possibly 4th.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well by that logic the NLD means feck all because our record against Newcastle and Everton is excellent

Westham didn’t even turn up bud and neither did those rancid racist bas** Chelsea. They completely bent over and let you shaft them. Had Spurs been playing them, 1000000% they would have put in much better performances. Chelsea and Westham unfortunately for us and fortunately for you don’t see you as a fierce rival like they do us, so their attitude in our games are completely different. Let’s not forget Westham had a Europa league game. They bent over for you bud as did Chelsea

It’s all about momentum mate. Spurs win on Thursday and we then have a chance to get 4th with a win against Burnley before you play. That immediately ramps the pressure on you in a tough Monday night game under the floodlights at St James park. We only need you to draw. It might not be in our hands, but this scenario could well play out. Then last game we have Norwich and you have Everton. I know who I’d rather play.

West ham made it v.tough for us. Dunno why, as they burnt out for the 2nd leg. They even scored against us.

WTF are you talking about don?

Chelsea haven't had a great record against us last few seasons. This was merely a continuation of that.

You're talking rubbish, as per usual. I doubt you even watched the games. It shows you really thought we'd drop points in those games

Why do you automatically assume you'll beat Burnley? I expect you to, but it's not a given.

I watched both games. Chelsea we’re absolutely pathetic. Not a chance they are performing like that had we rocked up at the bridge. Westham too, 100% on the beach

Momentum thing doesn’t really mean much either. Arsenal had momentum and lost 3 games in a row. Spurs had momentum and won 1 game in 4. Spurs beat City and followed that up with a win against Burnley.

It’s on a knife edge and can go either way. But Spurs aren’t guaranteed to beat us or win their last 3 games and Arsenal aren’t guaranteed to drop points against Newcastle or Everton, win draw or lose in the NLD

West Ham had a European semi final to prepare for what do you expect them to do and they played alright for the record minus a couple of players they played their strongest available eleven. To be honest if your moaning and complaining about other teams then maybe you need to look closer to home rather than relying on other teams doing you a favour.

I hope you are right Sandy I really do

Just have a horrible feeling thursday will be a draw in Normal NLD fashion but they will then mess up against newcastle after we beat Burnley and it goes to the last game

I don’t want my next statement to bite me but I genuinely feel Arsenal are rubbish and have got lucky at the right moments

Let’s be honest. When Spurs and United sacked their managers, Arsenal were automatically dismissed by both fanbases as top 4 contenders. It’s been guaranteed for a long time that we would be well out of the race for top 4 in May, never mind being one win away from it.

People can keep writing us off and maybe we will throw it away but the reason Spurs fans are hypothesising all these ‘scenarios’ is out of desperation and nothing more.
