So after playing the best team in the country we end up the home fixtures against a team who in their last four games have conceded 12 and scored 0. Sounds like a formality for Wolves and hopefully it will be.

If it’s to be Moutinho’s last game for Wolves at Molineux then I hope there’s an announcement beforehand about that so he can get the send off he deserves. And against his old club I’d like to see Ruddy start in goal.

I’m going 2-0 Wolves.

What’s your thoughts on Lage’s first season, are you guys Happy, encouraged or disappointed?

I guess we would all have taken this position at the start of a season that some thought might end in a relegation battle but there have been frustrations over the last six weeks or so with opportunities missed due to injuries and a lack of strength in depth to enable us keep up the September through to March momentum which was europa qualification form.

Fingers get pointed at the coach but it's been poor strategic planning in squad development that has held us back this season. The strategy may pay off long term, I have serious doubts about that but for the short term we've been left with a pretty decent core of a dozen or so players, some who are starting to look over the hill now and a bunch of speculative signings that we seem to be taking a punt on. Problem is we spunked £35m on one of those.

I don't think there's any doubt that the lack of depth in the squad continues to be a handicap. Even a small number of key players missing makes a massive difference to us as shown by the injuries to the likes of Jimenez, and Jonny last season and Neto for much of this season and Neves missing recent games that cost us the chance to move higher up the table

I think 8th represents a good season and we should remain in that position if we beat Norwich on Sunday, and from before the season started I would have been happy with that from Bruno's first season.

Having said that there has just been the signs that the squad doesn't seem quite as 'together' in recent weeks as it has previously, and there does appear to be some unhappiness with Bruno from some of the players. I think it would be an exaggeration to say he has lost the dressing room, but nevertheless it just leaves a question mark that he still has something to prove.

I thought the “togetherness “ was a real strong point and agree it seems to be diminishing

I wonder if Bruno will be bold and play Chiquinho, Toti and Trincao, or as it's the last home game start with a few of those who will be leaving at the end of the season.

I think that togetherness naturally starts to disappear when a number of players know they are leaving.

This summer we have Ruddy, Saiss, Moutinho, Trincao and Marcal who all know they are unlikely to be here next season.

Then you have rumours about Kilman, Neves, Dendoncker, Jimenez. Traore on loan not looking like he'll want to come back. Questions over Boly too.

It's no surprise that a few of them will have their heads elsewhere and it's why this is such a big rebuild job now. We were naive to let it get like this.

Of that list, Trincao is only one not coming to the end of their careers. The next list is just rumour, and up to Wolves to sell anyway. They might leave if the right offer comes in, but that is true of any player.

So I have no idea why you are panicking, Wolves are in good shape going into the summer transfer season.

Amazing to see Luton tonight in the play offs to become a Premier League side. Only 9 years ago that they knocked Solbakken’s Wolves out of the FA Cup as a non league team

Really good crowd at the Hawthorns. Seems more than they’ve got for some first team games. And the away end seems pretty full. Wolves totally on top but can they find the winner

Managed to get the game on my tv, via YouTube

U23 Black Country Derby goes to extra time. Very one sided second half but Wolves couldn’t turn that domination into goals. First time I’ve seen Joe Hodge in the Wolves midfield and he looks a great prospect

Brilliant individual goal by Hugo Bueno gives Wolves an extra time lead

Albion square it up in the second half of extra time so it will be penalties

And Albion win on penalties

Be good to see how MGW gets on today in the biggest game of his career so far when Blades meet Forest in the play off semi final

Fabulous game between blades and Forest. End to end and lots of goalmouth action. 1-0 to Forest midway through the first half but surely more goals to come

They're probably the best two sides in the play-offs and the winner will be favourite to go up in the final IMO. Forest really turned a corner with Steve Cooper this season.

Really looks like Newcastle have sold their soul with this take over. Evidently the ground will be called the MBS Stadium not St James Park, and that great traditional black and white stripe strip will be replaced by the green and white of Saudi Arabia
