Who else is on loan at Forest? Surely whoever it is Garner is a priority?
Think EtH needs to have a good look at him first in pre season as he may actually benefit more learning and developing under EtH if he’s ever gonna get a chance at the club. Will be interesting to see what we do with him.

Talk of Henderson going there on loan.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I see Henderson is on 100k a week. Good luck shifting all of that onto Forest
£75k a week now for Henderson. £25k pay cut.
Amazes me how so many fans panic this early in the window. Still plenty of time. We will make at least 3 signings I have no doubt. Probably more like 5. Chill out and judge the window when it has closed

£50m and he's all yours.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We’ll probably get him for £5M-£10M
He’s unproven at this level - but he’ll want to play for Cooper
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I doubt he will make it at this level. You never know though.

Never know in the right system with a specific role, even a youth product becoming a squad member for many years is a success.
Plus the likes of Delph has got plenty of games for Pep in the past so anyone has a chance.

Yep. I mean, there's talk of Pereira being given a chance and McT is hardly a superstar. You could make a strong argument that Garner should be ahead of either of those in the United pecking order. Which as things stand probably makes him a starter (though I expect that we'll sign a couple of CMs in the coming weeks). Still think he could be a useful squad player this season.
We should not be giving Pereira any more chances. He has got to be closer the 30 than he is 20.
The guy plays with less get up and go than McTominay and that is saying something.
Yeah fck Periera surely he’s only coming back because the loan is over and presumably they don’t want to buy him.

Just got compared to Arsenal. Sheite.
I'm going to blame new leadership at both coaching and management level. But the biggest signings of this season has probably been completed by the top teams in the league. Their focus, the organisation, is showing throughout out Man City and Liverpool.
We seem lost. We more than any club this season needed to go into preseason with at least our core intact. Anyways I think this season might just be a throwaway season.
You’re not allowed to be concerned about our lack of activity in the window apparently according to that belter vidicschin.
Rumour has it Barca may have sorted a deal which means they no longer need to raise any funds so that’ll be de jong staying.

Yeah that's why it slightly irks me when people reveal how long is left in the window. I think we're all aware of how long a transfer window is open for. But ideally you want the new signings in before you go off on a preseason tour, otherwise they'll be playing catch up in the early weeks of the season if not all season long.
No panic from me, although id have preferred us to have been a little further along with deals than we APPEAR to be.
I reckon there are 1 or 2 players that will want out / not wanted but most of the squad will be given at least an oppurtunity to impress in pre season before any decisions are made.

I think you need to factor in that we have got a new manager. He is going to take some time to assess the squad and decide what our priorities are. That will include speaking to the coaches and getting an idea of which youth players are ready to make the step up. I am sure that he will also be assessing video footage to see how these players play and whether they might work in his system. It is much easier for managers that are already at a club, as they already know what positions they need. I'd much rather we took time and got the right players than rush and makes signings that ultimately don't fit. Or sign a player when we have someone coming through from the youth setup that can fill that place.
