I’m not getting into any of the petty wum arguments going on but honestly I don’t get why Arsenal fans don’t just own this one. Their team took advantage of a loophole in badly written rules in order to postpone a game they were scared to play at that time. Their club more than any other is the reason these updated rules have been produced. No one else did what they did in the same way, but maybe other clubs might have had the opportunity presented itself.
Why can’t Arsenal fans just say ‘yeah the club tried it in the hope of it giving us a better chance to win the game. If we had and had secured top four we’d be laughing at you about it’?
All this ‘yeah but’ responses from them just makes them look more pathetic.

Even though Arsenal cheated to get the Spurs match postponed, they only delayed the inevitable. A thumping Spurs victory. You cannot run forever to escape the inevitable.
Bending the rules is not something new to Arsenal. They did the ultimate, they gave the authorities a bung to get themselves promoted to the top division, when they finished 6th in the old 2nd division, and miraculously then found themselves promoted.
Always remember they have previous.
