Aren’t Arsenal the third biggest club in England?

Third

Who the hell is bigger than us?

Maybe United at a push but that’s a major push.

Truth be told, there’s no one bigger than us in Sports & Entertainment.

Chelsea are in also. A three way bidding war.
Don't think the price will go over 65m.

"For Spurs I’d prefer Richarlison over Raphina, would suit our needs more."

Getting your excuses in early for when your lot don't get Raphinha, eh?!

It's an interesting choice, cos if you bet on Conte throwing a tantrum and leaving Spurs in a mess at the end of this season, I don't think you'd be entirely unjustified. Arsenal at the other end with a manager with some potential but still lots of question marks and ultimately could easily fail.

Both clubs seemingly on the up and looking ambitious at the moment

Raphinha is a far better player than Richarlison, would you prefer richarlison just because he can cover the left Ace?

I`ll be surprised if he chooses Woolwich and the misery of Pep`s cone boy

Is this all a front for Edus Brazilian cartel using Arsenal for personal gain

Got a feeling Raphinha will still somehow end up at Barca even though they don’t have a pot to pizz in.

My thoughts on transfers remain the same, as long as Conte gets who he wants I don’t care what others do. The reality is, if Conte gets what he wants then Arsenal finish comfortably behind us - the levels of ability between the two managers is a faaacking chasm

Quite funny how this "he chose us over you, so we are bigger" is now a thing.

Started in recent times by Liverpool ( of course ) who seemed to get a bee in their bonnet over Diaz being somehow literally escorted away from Spurs with the pen still in his hand and off to Liverpool, which in turn somehow made Liverpool much better than Spurs, almost like winning the so called "best club cup" which was added to their trophy records.

Now it appears Arsenal ( of all clubs, lol ) are trying the same pointless trick, saying they are such a big club because Raphinia ( do Spurs even need another winger ? ) may go to Arsenal, and that by some really weird reason, makes Arsenal bigger than Spurs.

Players sign for all sorts of reason, usually stupid wages, and your average fan that comers on here has absolutely no knowledge of what talks / approaches took place to get the player to sign.

The "he preferred us cup" does not exist. Honestly, it doesn't.

Oh and Arsenal fans, you are STILL playing Thursday nights, and any transfer won't change that, or that Spurs have been the better team for the last 6 years. You know, the league table never lies and all that.

Arsenal have never been THAT big. Few years under Wenger and that's about it.

We need someone who can play off the left or up front so son and Kane can have a rest once in a while

Isn’t the poll you have linked just for 2021?

Not the best catchment of data is it if that’s the case

Not that I give a shat who is voted the most popular …

I’d rather the old school system of the league table ….boring I know but it judges who is better not who thinks who is better / most popular ….you should try that instead

Is this what arsenal fans hold onto now ? How embarrassing

"don't give a shat who is more popular but will write an essay about it"

I don't hold 'onto' Arsenal's obvious popularity as something to brag about. However sometimes its necessary to point it out when fans from other clubs take it on themselves to wind up Arsenal fans on a thread specifically discussing a player that Arsenal are considering adding to their squad.

It is however quite a pleasant surprise that despite not winning any major trophy for quite a while Arsenal are still very popular with the general public in this country.
