UPDATE:

Feyenoord sporting director Frank Arnesen: "The agreement is there. We are now waiting for Tyrell [Malacia]. If he says yes, then a transfer to #mufc is imminent." #mulive [@1908nl]

I guess we shouldn't assume the player won't opt to move to Lyon instead. Increasingly, we're seeing well advised young players are choosing the club where they can play regularly, develop as a footballer and do what's best for their long term career rather than going to a big club at first opportunity. Depay probably regrets going to United before Lyon, rather than the other way round, and I'm pretty sure Bellingham has no regrets at moving to the Bundesliga.

He's basically a poor man's Davids, for the oldies who remember how good he was around the 98 WC era...

Not so great with the cross, but can pick a pass. I recon he would be a very usefull addition to the build-up play from the back and linking up with a more intelligent attacker like Sancho in front of him and make that player shine.

Him and Simon Stone are incredibly reliable.

Romano is reliable too but only for the fact he just steals the info from other sources who don't have the same following. Such a sneaky one that guy.

Romano was literally the first person to break this story, there was nothing in the Dutch media until he broke it.

He will have got it from somewhere though. It's literally impossible to be so connected and clued up on 100's on transfers happening all over Europe at the same time.

How many eyes and ears has he got?

Got to respect the guy though. He puts the graft in.

You mean Edgar Davids? I can't remember him playing anywhere other than midfield. Didn't the Dutch had Reiziger / Cocu / Bogarde / maybe one of the De Boer brothers as full backs around that time?

Romano's tweet literally says 'Dutch sources confirm' too. It's in black and white.

He's just willing what we're all too lazy to do. He digs. He doesn't have any inside information in these deals being brokered though. It's literally impossible to be so well informed across multiple continents.

We need to buy players of Liverpool standard. After all they have won 1 league title in 32 years so clearly they get everything right.

Leave them alone. They’ve won the most points without a title trophy a couple of times.

Fullbacks play an important role in football these days. We've been poor in this position for years, while other teams have FBs that give them an edge. Wouldn't be surprised if ETH recruites two FBs this summer.

So after months of waiting to be able to assess the squad it took ETH 2 training sessions to decide to replace Shaw
