£60m for Richarlson is an absolute rip, Everton pulled their pants down there. Bloke scored 11 goals last season.
will we move up the table if we re-sign Romero

Why are Chelsea above United?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They’re on the verge of signing Sterling who imo will be a better signing for them than De Jong will be for us
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Procedural point 1: surely we can't include players who are about to sign when evaluating this table?
Procedural point 2: are we allowed to include signing a new manager?

Robb is massively overplaying Spurs transfer window. Bissouma is a good signing and exactly what they need but Richarlson, whilst adding a bit of depth to their forward line will find himself on the bench plenty this season. Kane won't be rested very much even with him there. Lenglet has looked really average for a while but may do ok in a 3 but no guarantee and Spence will be second or even third choice RWB if Royal stays.
They've had a good window in the context of boosting squad numbers which will help them but City with Haaland and Phillips have way more quality that Spurs have signed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Spurs will finish above you this season. Doubt anyone will catch City though

11 goals in a team that just missed out on relegation... not too shabby really
However you look af it, Liverpool are weaker than they were last season, whilst Arsenal are stronger with the addition of Viera and Jesus.

More than every United player except Ronaldo.
The Richarlison deal is a good one and a fair price for both sides.

Why wouldn't we?
World class Mane, 5 years in the team, many years in thr league.
Nunez has had 1 verg good season in Portugal.
On Paper.....Sancho, Varane and Ronaldo made us better. What happened? Fewer pts, less goals, lower league finish and a far worse season.
The cry babies in our fanbase are ridiculous. New players will arrive. I think 2 or 3 will arrive before we fly out to the Far East next week.

So doesn't that apply to EVERY player bought so far, therefore making this whole thread a waste of time then?
Spurs have a world class manager, a forward line as good as anyones in the PL - and with depth now, their midfield is excellent and their defence has improved massively. They will surely do very well this season.
Liverpool will be fine too of course but I’m not sure they’ll have the same consistency this season. Mane was their key player for winning PL points under Klopp. He will be very hard to replace.

Spurs need a CB, RWB and a creative midfielder.
If Lenglet is the CB then that's a concern because he's been hopeless for Barcelona. Not seeing much linking them with a creative midfielder now they have pulled out of the deal for Eriksen.
So if its Lenglet and a RWB probably Spence then that makes it a good window but not a great one.

I get that Spurs have had a decent window, but the current champions Man C have signed one of the best strikers in world football, who is also still really young , and a PL proven DM...
I don't get how they are 2nd in this table...
Bissouma is nearer £35m isnt it?
Richarlison nearer £60m ?
