I must admit to being concerned that it seemed to be taking a long time to be getting these transfers over the line, but now its really starting to happen with a vengeance. Brilliant, signing these names will only help others to make the decison to join us hopefully.
And now McGoldrick. Looking forward to the endless hilarity of Spart calling him McGoaldrought for ever and ever. As sharp and amusing as Bellyache for Bielik.

I'm not sure that's going to happen 😕
I'm having that feeling too. Comments from Davies camp gives me the feeling it's not happening. Either he wants a better salary ( understandable) or the board are reluctant to offer him the terms he deserves due to age.
Squad starting to take shape:

It was what we always called him at Forest, why change a name because he comes to us. He has the chance to prove it not true.. Bellyache also fitted as he was always off sick. I bet his mum was always writing letters to the school. Do you think he has been good value for the £10M we paid Arsenal then Vidal.
We haven't paid anything like 10 million. You are very gullible if you believe any old stuff you read, Spart, I thought better of you than that. But he has not been good value, no. Like Thorne he has had his Derby career wrecked by injury and I think we ought now to cut our losses, however many millions they might be.
I would like Byrne to re-sign
All three new signings have given excellent interviews on Rams TV and clearly all are here for the right reasons.
As the money owed for Bielik was a football debt and as we are out of administration Arsenal must have been paid in full so we could sell him for a fee which would be all ours. A fit Bielik would be a huge asset for us in any league but he is likely to want to move. I just wonder who would be prepared to take a punt on a risky proposition injury-wise. We would probably want a large fee for him.
I too am getting worried about Curtis and why it's taking so long. If we fail to get him I hope Stearman will sign.
Now that Buchanan and McDonald have left we urgently need some full backs, the more so if Byrne leaves. I would hope Fozzie would sign but we are still short unless we have a good U23 or two. Ang?
It would also be reassuring if the likes of Sibley and Bird would come out and confirm a desire to stay. TL looks to be going.
Apart from Collins, anyone know a decent striker available on a free or loan?
Given the moniker, I'm willing to play at at RB. Sure on my debut at Pride Park ( work event) I got injured warming up my hamstrings but lightening can't strike twice!

We had him for a couple of years and Arsenal were still wanting 5 million. Don't know how much he cost so you have to go with the paper talk.

----------------------------------------------------------------------Alan/bstard made only 1 payment I beleive.
We may change the division we play in. Owners and managers come and go, as do players. All things must pass, bar one immutable truth: the contrariness of Spart.
Bless him, is what I say.
7 good signings so far, I do think that there will be some more out goings...

I predict a Max Bardell breakthrough season. Has the physicality for Lg1, I reckon.
I presume he's still with us
There's also Will Grewall-Pollard, but maybe not this season ?
Did we loan George Nunn from Chelsea ?
Might work as a LWB ?
Thanks Ang.
I have seen Bardell a few times but not much of GP.
I keep banging on about squad additions but we need bodies in at all age levels apparently.
Curtis has signed a 1 yrar deal allegedly
Great if true Fin! What's your source for this?
