According to media a one year extension was triggered. My impression is this could be contested if required due to our admin. and takeover scenario, especially if you look at the Buchanan scenario.

Personally, I think it's a case of senior players re-signing on a week by week basis. I'm only assuming here but if Forsyth hasn't gone anywhere else he'd be next to sign.

Given Davies has returned it may prompt other senior figures such as Byrne to return to Derby. Fingers crossed, as it's certainly bring some welcome continuity at the back.

According to Derbys Live Byrne is leaving having resigned BEFORE the takeover meaning his one year extension was cancelled. Pity but the triallist from Man City looked pretty good today as did Mendez-Laing and Barkhuisen. I thought all the first-half team looked good with Stretton doing well later although without much support.

Yes Glover right footed playing on the left. I thought he looked very decent. Wildsmith worried me quite a bit! The right back from City could be a good signing. Mcdonald played like he was 90 years old. Roberts will be good competition on the left for Forsyth. If we get another right back to replace Byrne, and sign Glover and Collins and don't lose too many more, I think we look strong. Lot of ifs there I know.

Maybe another keeper too unless Foulkes steps up.

Wildsmith sounds a bit like Foulkes to me.
Really needs to improve his 'ground work'

....or we could play in a different manner ?
