Is it me or does Gil look like he's got something we don't have elsewhere in the squad. He moves like Modric but obviously don't want to heap pressure on him. I'd keep him or at least loan him to an English club so we can see how he looks in this league. No gain from sending him back to Spain.

They deserved their goal tbf. One of their player ls had Sanchez, Sess and Dier on toast before they scored.

It's you and a few other Spurs fans. Saw this tweet earlier :
Feels like there is a player in Bryan Gil - just seems to be missing that final decisive action on the ball.

He is still lightweight for me. Send him back on loan to Spain. He would get battered in England.

There's a part of me that doesn't want the likes of Emerson and Sanchez to do well in pre-season. If they do well it might make the club put the brakes on certain signings that are absolutely needed. Whatever form they show here, you know they're gonna disappoint when the season gets going.

Really? We're still leaning on that rubbish? It's not 1972. The likes of David and Bernardo Silva have stormed it in this league and they could both be described as lightweight at the beginning. If you're technically good, you can ride tackles. He has enough craft to avoid getting bullied. He's no smaller than Modric was. Look at what he achieved.
