No is the answer, light comes into the planet and is refracted or scattered as it hits our atmosphere.

blue light is scattered more due to having a shorter wavelength than other colours which means with the scattering being dominated by blue colours this is why we see it as blue
----------------------------------------------------------------------

First you need to ask whether the sky exists and if it does what its boundaries are before you can determine its colour

----------------------------------------------------------------------
already did
----------------------------------------------------------------------

and does it? and what is it? where does it begin and end?

as far as I think at least anyway the sky is the atmosphere around our planet. the colour that that we see when we look up is the colours entering our planet from external sources the rest was explained above

thats what I said ... the sky is the atmosphere around us.. it has no colour. the colour you see is from an external source outwith our planet being broken up as it enters our planet. its not the colour of our sky or atmosphere.

If you took a 1000l jar with a vacum inside up into the "sky" opened it then sealed the jar... brought it back down to ground level and put it a endclosed room with white light the jar will not contain blue gas, it will be clear
