It's the no one wants your players, no one is bidding for your players that bore the tats off us.

Aribo and bassey cost peanuts and we could end up with 20 million for both.

Goog business whatever way it gets spun to death on here.

Predictable will be after bassey has gone for an amazing profit it will be

Nobody wants gurny face
Nobody wants kent etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
sad yesterday using that logic no one wants De Bruyne, no one wants Benzema, Mbappe.

No bids = no one wants them

The big question about Tillman is can he referred to as a USA international seeing he only has 2 caps?

I’m not sure the unique JA606 (Celtic fans) rules were ever really clarified…..

His signing seems to be expected today so if one of you boys could clear that up ASAP it would be appreciated 👍

Nobody should want Morelos right now to be honest.

He’s off the back of a bad injury and is still in rehab.

He’s out of contract at the end of the season.

The only offers you would expect to see now are daft lowball offers. Nothing else would make much sense.

He could still be out for a month or two then break down in his first game back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He’s a vvank and all. Don’t forget that. That could put some buyers off.

I don't know anything about the new lads that both clubs have brought in as outfield players

Both sides are doing their best to put together a squad that will win the league, its exactly what should be expected of them tbh.
I don't know anything about the new lads that both clubs have brought in as outfield players, I imagine there will more added as the window drags on.
Impossible to say if the new guys will be a success, its all speculation at the minute.

On Rangers best assets they should have one thing in mind get them signed up to protect he assets going into a last year or try to sell them. I say try as its not as simple as that, they may want to run down their respective contracts which is their right as they will set themselves up for a big signing on fee at their next club.

Its a horrible situation for all clubs but its the reality of the situation.

common sense posts ..... they will never catch on !!

Dont think anyone can disagree with anything you said.

Rangers are deffo trying to get Morelos and Kent to sign new deals.

As soon as talks were mooted with Aribo he indicated he wanted to move on so we had to take what we could get for him. £6m isn’t great up front but the club seems to be confident that the majority of the £10m will come to fruition and that figure isn’t a disaster.

We certainly did better out of Aribo than Charlton did.

Tillman brings another attacking option to us so hopefully we are looking decent across the forward line now.

Agents pash me off in this situation, in the ear of their client, flashing £££ at them.

Not sure on Morelos he has talent and will either come back flying or struggle after injury.

Kent IMO was rotten last season and has taken a few quid off his value.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Morelos will need 3/4 weeks to get back up to his usual levels IMO.

Kent was quite domestically, in europe he was our most important player IMO. He was outstanding in europe especially against the better teams. Dortmund , Leipzig and Braga he terrorised them as they trie to play higher lines.

The Final apart I didn't watch Rangers in Europe. Scoff if you don't believe me but I really didn't so don't have a scooby how he played tbh.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I watched the whole run.

They were pretty flukey in most games tbh.

fair do's like I said IMO he was our best player throughout the campaign he really stretched teams and created a lot of space for our other attackers.

Paying £20 million for bassey would break Ajax’s record fee paid for a player. Not impossible but very unlikely. Will still be a great return/profit on him if he goes.

In the last year of his contract and from what it seems only turned up last season for big games I would value Kent at £5M just now.
Don't go fooking mad just my opinion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
he didnt ONLY turn up for the big game though.... he looked better in the big games but to say he had zero good games against smaller teams is wrong. it was against the better teams he did better

I think in a good few games, only my opinion like lex, kent was receiving the ball and slowing down and playing the side pass.

Kent needs to really start running at defences again, where he caused havoc before.

posted on 15/7/22

I’d say Kent did look like was getting a bit bored of another domestic season trying to go past 4 or 5 hammer throwers at a time as they all took swings at him.

Europe seemed to be a release for him where games of football actually broke out.

Unfortunately our pashy league is his bread and butter and he is going to have to up his domestic number again as well as turning it on in Europe.

Kent (and McGregor) was one of the biggest reasons we never won the league last season imo. He is a key difference maker and he just didn’t do enough over the piece. Didn’t create enough and didn’t score enough.

We need 10+ goals and 15+ assists a season out of him

posted on 15/7/22

he was directly invoved in 15 goals (goals or assists) in 30 games domestically. to a goal or assist every other game which is decent stats.

23 goal contributions (goals or assists) in 46 games for the season again is very decent stats tbf.
