How cheap did you get him in the end?
Few forest fans at my work so I’ve watched them a few times last season, looks tailor made for a wing back in a Conte system if not a little raw right now. Great age too. Probably out last Conte with you so hopefully for him your next manager also utilises wing backs as he doesn’t look the best defensively in a 4. Maybe he’d move forwards if that were to happen.

12.5m plus performance related add ons rising to 20
Good signing to throw into the mix, worth giving a spin though might take him a while to get up to scratch.
Well done Daniel for getting this done so quickly

Would like him to have stayed at Forest but good deal for Spurs. Definite potential

That`s a decent fee all things considered, if he does well we`ll pay £20m which is reasonable for a 21 year old home grown WB / FB
Yeah i see Ornstein has confirmed it as well

Hope he’s decent.
We need a RWB and LWB that can provide decent crosses
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or at least get to the byline and cut it back
Good price for a very promising talent. I wonder if any of them go or we use Doherty as a utility WB
From a HG quota perspective he is ideal too.
For the Prem we are fine but for the CL if he signs we will have the required 7 locally trained players.
But that includes Tanganga. If he leaves we can either go into the comp with 24 players or try and buy another English trained player.
GK. Lloris, Forster, Austin
RWB. Emerson, Doherty, Spence(!)
LWB. Peresic, Sessegnon, Reguillon
RCB. Romero, Sanchez/Tanganga
CCB. Dier,
LCB. Davies, Lenglet
CM. Bentancur, Skipp
CM. Bissouma, Hojbjerg
WF Son, Moura, Kulu
CF. Kane, Richarlison
We are up 17 non HG according to CL rules. No space for Rodon, Sarr or GIl.
Reg looking likely to leave so we could have one more non HG space available soon.
Others to possibly make way - Emerson, maybe Sanchez or Moura....??

The prices bandied around seem insane - 60m? No chance for me. He should want to come to us, Leicester are going nowhere. But we do kind of need more homegrown and we've got no one that's good on set pieces..
Maddison would be an excellent signing. Leicester apparently interested in winks so if a deal can be done, that would be perfect.
Really can’t see spurs putting up the readies that they would want though

Depends how much is earmarked for the other CB. Assuming the Spence fee is £12.5m, Richarlison was an initial £50m and Bissouma £25m - so we’ve spent £87.5m.
We got £28m for Bergwijn and £6m for CCV, so we have a net spend of £53.5m. Take off £45m for finalising Romero aswell.
The club has put £150m in this summer and we have further sales to come that will get fees - Reggie, GLC, Rodon.
It’s doable

If the reported fee of £12:5m plus add on’s is accurate, then that’s excellent business. The modern day equivalent of what we paid for Walker, and for me Spence is a player who has similar attributes - that raw athleticism that needs honing by a quality coach. A potentially very astute signing, home grown and should suit Contes game.
Would absolutely love us to get Maddison, him, Spence and Bissouma were my three big wishes so a full house would be excellent but I can’t see it, their owners will try to hold Levy’s gonads to furnace on the price and we all know how that usually goes. The real kick in the teeth is we were linked to him when he was at Norwich, just as we were linked with Grealish and Bowen when they were Championship players. If our scouting system had been more competent a few years ago instead of recruiting every soppy bollox N’Tosspot from Ligue 1 we’d be a fack of a lot better off now.
Maddison needs to leave Leicester though. My LCFC supporting mate reckons their owners are boracic lint due to the impact of covid on the Thai tourism industry, which is why they haven’t bought anyone. Rodgers has peaked there, it’s a downward curve now. They’ll have Potter in that job by Xmas.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah we missed out on Maddison twice, we could have had him when he went from Cov to Norwich but we didn’t pull the trigger and then did the same when he went to Leicester.
The rumour is Leicester have to sell to buy but no one wants their trash and the better players are running down contracts. Got a feeling this one has legs

Meh in general. He's a MoTD player for me. Great on the highlights reel but whenever I've watched him (not that much tbf) he doesn't stand out in terms of workrate or running a game like Eriksen used to. Maybe I'm missing something.
