Anybody but Liebour for me, imagine the misery of those clowns back in charge of the country
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Been asleep for the past 12 years Billy?

Record inflation, fuel and food prices through the roof, tax rises, mass strikes, and trouble in Northern Ireland.

Thought it was Corbyn who was supposed to drag us back to the 70’s!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It would be no different under any other leadership in the current climate, in fact almost certainly worse under Liebour as their track record is facking abysmal.

In case it has been forgotten, there is a global pandemic and war in Ukraine which are circumstances beyond control, the cost of living problem is unavoidable, unless of course you want to bankrupt the country, which will no doubt be Liebour`s answer to everything, as it always is.

What we absolutely do not need is the likes of Vladimir Corbyn and Dianne Abbott with any say of running the country.

Oh and Taxes have just been brought down have they not, fuel duty, national insurance both reduced.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
15 tax rises under this current government. Highest tax burden in over 40 years.

Love how we are literally at the bottom of a cesspit and people still think Labour would be worse. How the actual fe ck can it get worse?

I think we need to stop looking to Eaton and dulwich for our politicians and start getting some human beings in charge
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Part of the reason we’re in such a state.

People brainwashed by the Tory media.

Yeah, because the Tories are doing a great job.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Also.. ‘liebour’ when we have Johnson in charge
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Literally just lost his job because he’s a pathological liar.

Unfortunately we have too many people like billy who have fallen for the ‘they’re all the same’ , ‘Labour would do no better’ nonsense, which let’s face it is literally the only thing die hard tories have left to justify the absolute mess 12 years of conservative power has left us in

This government have caused untold misery to my family. Including cuts to the health service under which I lost my mother and brother when it was avoidable if there were more staff, lost two grandparents to covid getting into care homes and they have cut my wages by £12000 meaning I struggle to pay for the house I bought when my wages were in line with inflation

Do not f a ckking tell me anyone would be worse because those khants are fa cking evil.

So sorry to hear that. Especially the care home business. People need to be in front of a jury for that decision.

What can we do though?

Try to reason with them - 100% doesn't work and just leads to loads of wasted time.

Call them idiots - factual but then they moan about it.

Pander to them? No fack that, think this mistake is made often lately. These morons are beyond help.

It's tricky situation and it's the majority of people who are being punished for it.

Fack me can you imagine that uttercunt Truss becoming PM? That’s not just scraping the barrel, it’s going through the rotten wood at the bottom and digging into the slurry below.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I kind of want her to win as she’s just a continuation of Johnson, tainted by association, plus she’s gormless, so that’s good for the opposite parties.

Although there are concerns (within her own party) that she could start a f*cking nuclear war!

We had the same here. A right wing government who were kept in power by Murdoch and his cronies and it didn’t seem that Labor would ever get back in power but against all odds they did. And instantly the better decisions are being made and it feels like we’re back in the real world again regarding how we deal with other countries and how domestic issues are being looked after.

So it may seem like you’re in a dictatorship but it can get better. I’m ignorant to the differences between Uk and Australian voting processes (apart from the fact you legally have to vote here - great idea btw) but we had lots of independents stand and they seemed to take votes away from the Libs and allowed Labor to March to victory. Can someone far more intelligent than I explain why that could or couldn’t happen in the UK.

Thank you for your kind words people

Honestly I despair at people that still support these khants. They are as bad in my book.

I actually don’t like starmer that much but by f a ck I’d choose him over any single one of the tories. Every time.

What people need to do is vote for whoever it best placed to beat the Tory candidate in their constituency, it’s the only way.

I’m in a labour safe seat so no big deal, but some will just have to hold their noses and vote to get the Tory out, like we’ve seen in the recent by elections.

Our voting system is the problem. I don’t know the actual stats but I think the Labour got the most votes in 2010 with 40% odd. But the liberals (who I will never forgive) got the tories in power and forced austerity on us when the majority of the country didn’t vote for it. It lead us through to the mess of the brexit vote, covid and the lying shameless corrupt incompetence of a government we have now.

Absolutely this, 100%

I will NEVER forgive that utter, spineless coward Cameron for saddling us with a referendum - WHICH HE DIDN'T NEED TO DO but did it anyway because he was too weak to stand up to his xenophobic back benchers

Now the сunt is trying to find a way back in

Labour's track record is abysmal based on what? Let me guess you'll blame them 2008 yet conveniently give excuse after excuse for why the Tories are struggling.

Corbyn and Abbott aren't in Starmer's shadow cabinet and would have no say in anything if Labour came to power.

National Insurance hasn't been reduced, the threshold has been raised but the tax rate itself has also risen.

By the way, they’ve literally done the bare minimum with financial help for the cost of living crisis so people don’t die of starvation in 2022. We’re still paying double fuel prices and ever increasing prices on everything else.
