Why does London have so many working class Tories.
Utterly bizarre bunch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Tories are finished in London.
I don't really understand how British politics has come such a position.
You have Labour that for some reason adore globalisation even though that is the kind of policy that causes people to be left behind, yet on the other side you have conservatives attempting to cut the UK off from globalisation which is a very anti-business and unconservative position.
You can find this kind of paradox in nearly every position.
If that doesn't show you that they have all been bought and paid for, in any party then I don't know what will.
My personal opinion is that the only reason that the Conservatives have stayed in power so long is because it suits the Labour party politicians to keep them there.
I'd vote for Mordaunt just because she's a bit of a milf. I mean if we're going to have someone incompetent running the country they may as well be nice to look at, after the last few years with Boris.

Think that’s why my mother voted for Blair.
It's difficult, finding any pros is looking for a needle in a haystack full of cons.

The tories a c**ts mate. They cause so much unnecessary pain across the country and somehow convince people there’s nothing they can do about it.

I always ask myself that too but London has largely been Labour dominated for decades now, some of these Spurs fans must come from the home counties.
Vote 5 : Lucifer-This is a good series on Netflix
If people are serious about wanting a Labour victory at the next GE, then they'd all better pray the final two are Sunak and Truss.
Neither of those two would win a GE, (for very different reasons).................. and it looks like the Tory party "machine" may be cranking-up to oust Sunak!

Nah - if people are serious about their lives and their
futures Labour should be winning no matter who becomes the Tory party leader after the absolute diabolical hot mess of the past 13 years.
If not then as the ancient Greeks used to say, you get the leaders you deserve.
It doesn't bode well for the advancement of the human race that right wing parties have even a hope in winning an election.

We had the same here. A right wing government who were kept in power by Murdoch and his cronies and it didn’t seem that Labor would ever get back in power but against all odds they did. And instantly the better decisions are being made and it feels like we’re back in the real world again regarding how we deal with other countries and how domestic issues are being looked after.
So it may seem like you’re in a dictatorship but it can get better. I’m ignorant to the differences between Uk and Australian voting processes (apart from the fact you legally have to vote here - great idea btw) but we had lots of independents stand and they seemed to take votes away from the Libs and allowed Labor to March to victory. Can someone far more intelligent than I explain why that could or couldn’t happen in the UK.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Our voting system is the problem. I don’t know the actual stats but I think the Labour got the most votes in 2010 with 40% odd. But the liberals (who I will never forgive) got the tories in power and forced austerity on us when the majority of the country didn’t vote for it. It lead us through to the mess of the brexit vote, covid and the lying shameless corrupt incompetence of a government we have now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely this, 100%
I will NEVER forgive that utter, spineless coward Cameron for saddling us with a referendum - WHICH HE DIDN'T NEED TO DO but did it anyway because he was too weak to stand up to his xenophobic back benchers
Now the сunt is trying to find a way back in
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you don't believe in democracy? The people wanted the vote, proven by the result of the referendum.
So because it didn't go the way you wanted everyone that voted leave is Xenophobic? Wah wah wah.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Listen, ѕhit for brains. in ALL and EVERY previous referendum held in this country (and others), there has ALWAYS been a minimum percentage majority that needed to be achieve before it was enacted.
And no, I don't believe that everyone who voted leave is/was a xenophobe
But I can guarantee that all xenophobes voted leave.
