Hwang uijo has decent figures on his cv. But to have arrived at 29 years of age with a value of only £3m doesn't sound very encouraging. We need better
----------------------------------------------------------------------
For sure. I think 12 and 11 the last two season in the French top league but at 29 he is clearly only a stop gap which would just highlight how we hve failed to get our targets in again.
Would rather Batshuayi.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah 3m to cover the gap left by loaning out our 36m man
The Coady loan will be made permanent if certain parameters are met but it’s not yet clear what those are
Barcelona midfielder Nico Gonzales tipped as the next signing. Only 20 and had 36 appearances last season. Should provide a good alternative to Moutinho
Evidently mgw has refused to even enter into conversations about an extended contract so that seems to open the door to him leaving because we wouldn’t get anywhere near £35m in a years time when he enters the final year of his current contract
If that is the case we must cash in now.
Anywhere near £35 mill take it as in my opinion he's not worth that much.
To be fair, MGW might be waiting to see whether he is actually going to be a part of the team this season before committing to a new contract. Its understandable from his position.
I think it's up to Bruno Lage to say whether MGW will be playing. If he's going to be an important part of the squad then we should hold onto him unless we get an offer that's too good to turn down. He would likely sign a new contract before January if playing most weeks. If he isn't going to be playing, then we really need to be accepting one of the current offers before his value drops.
Tamwolf, are you saying Wolves have become a selling club? Where the supporters actually want the owners to sell players rather than try and keep them and try to build a team.

Have you met Amiga? I feel like you two would get along.
If MGW has been waiting to see if he can cement a place in the team before signing a new contract then the arrival of Guedes has made both of those things less likely.
I agree with many on here, if we can get £35M+ then sell him on.

It would help if you would answer the question asked.
No, I have not met Amiga, is it an organisation or a person? So on very little evidence, you are making judgements of me. Still waiting for an answer to my question.
The question had no relevance to what I said, yet started with 'are you saying?' It was a way of trying to make out I was saying something I wasn't to get the result you want.
Amiga is a poster on the Wolves forum who has a very similar posting style. Constantly makes out people are saying things that they haven't said or tells them what they are thinking. All to feed his own sense of superiority to whoever he is in a discussion with. Hence why you two would get along.

I asked you a question, nothing more, nothing less, about what you wrote in a comment. From what you wrote I got the impression you thought Wolves have become a selling club that just required a yes, or no answer.
I repeat I do not read minds, though from what you write you seem to be able to read minds over the internet. It is not your fault that Wolves have become a selling club. It is a sad situation when the owners of the club leave the club in that position.
OK. I'm not getting drawn in anymore. Have a nice day.
I don’t think it’s s problem being a selling club as long as the money brought in is reinvested for the benefit of the squad. When we sold Jota that didn’t happen. Selling MGW and bringing in Guedes is a good move in my opinion but the main need remains a centre forward.
I think everyone was getting concerned about how this window was going but there’s a sign of things getting better now. When the window closes is the time to see whether we have made a step or two forward
The ironies of how the transfer market works
Wolves are hoping to sign Nico Gonzales from Barcelona. But we face a rival in that chase in Valencia who have some money to invest having sold Guedes to Wolves

Not being able to name a 25 man squad is part of the problem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're probably unaware of the fact. But only 4 or 5 clubs registered the full 25 man senior squads last season. One or two only named 17.
