A front three of Traore, Jimenez and Neto would be one of the best front lines in the division to me and with Trincao and Fabio on the bench I don’t think we need to go shopping for any other forwards. Then sell Cutrone and Podence to get some cash towards a quality midfield player

That's the fault of the club that the £45 million hasn't benefitted us to be fair. We spent the money poorly given our situation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Precisely so. But that just reiterates the point Wolfgang and I were making that we would have benefitted more by keeping the player than having the £45m. That was my view at the time and still is with hindsight.

Hopefully selling MGW and signing Guedes will look like a good deal when we look back with hindsight in two years time. I think it will

Yes pundit. I don’t retract any of that which was written at a time when all three of Neto, Jimenez and Traore were injured which is why I used the word would.

How long you plan staying on the forum this time pundit before you get banned again?

Sorry Tamwolf you did not spend the money, the owners did, largely the owners decide the fate of the club. Seemingly at present the owners at Leeds are better than the owners you lot have got. They keep talking about reforming the ownership of football clubs.
Sadly the present lot in charge of the UK do not seem to have a clue. I can imaging some of the chinless wonders female and male turning up to the football match carrying a tennis racket riding a polo pony.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for clarifying. I was definitely under the impression that I spent the money.

I can only read the words on the screen, i do not do mind reading.
Seriously the ownership structure is a joke and the ordinary fan is just a hostage to the ownwers whim. I enjoy watching my club, but i cannot see much point debating things I cannot change,
It is easy supporting a successful team.
Until M Bielsa arrived there was not much to celebrate watching Leeds.

I said when we sold him I thought we had s squad that would struggle for goals, and that was before Raul had his injury. I got a list of players that would score more, and the same list when Raul got injured and the same list when I made the same point a couple of weeks ago. Still waiting for the goals to flow.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Bullshat. You actually said last summer that we must ...........

"surely have one of the best front lines in the division"

Unless you like strikers that don't score?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought going forwards Wolves were great on Saturday, from where I was sat anyway. Add a reliable goal scorer (sounds obvious I know) and you'll frighten the life out of a few. Some went down a little to easy I thought, when no real need to. You're good enough to beat teams without that nonsense. Wasn't sure what to expect, but overall I thought you were a good side, and by default it was a great result for us, especially given how many of ours were tasting prem footy/atmosphere for the first time.

Personally I thought it was a great game.

I enjoyed the game too VOF but with regard to the Wolves forward line there has been too many occasions over the last two years when we have played well but not turned that into goals. First three games of last season we were excellent against some good teams but we didn’t score on any of those games. Our shortcoming is there for all to see in the goals for column and I can’t see the players currently at the club solving the problem.

Although you say we played well at Elland Road I don’t think your keeper will have many easier games all season

Thought Forest might drop their interest in mgw once they signed Lingard but apparently not. Seem similar types of player to me

Think it would be pretty daft if we are trying to do Coady a favour. Its business not a charity. 12 million even sounds too cheap to me. 15m should be the minimum you would think and loaning him seems pretty pointless.

Loan or sale?

posted on 8/8/22

Loan apparently

posted on 8/8/22

Makes no sense to me.

Obligation to buy would make it a little better i guess.

No money in yet again ffs

posted on 8/8/22

Well as he's on loan he can't play, and score, against us.

I like to know where I've mentioned all those players cinci. What I have put up on here is.. I like to see a few of our youngsters given a chance and only mentioned Lembikisa and Bueno as players that have impressed me for the U23's last season. I'm sure Toti will get some game time.

You do twist matters around to suit your own agenda.

I still hope that one day I can come on here and not see you moaning and whinging, but I won't hold my breath.

Speaking of our youngsters...Hoever played the whole match at RB in PSV Eindhovens 4-1 win over the weekend.

Exactly. These were the next in line. So good we are lending them all out.

I didn't mention Corbenau, Giles or Cundle. Fabio was part of the first team squad.

Try READING what I have posted above. I only mentioned two by name.

You two obviously didn't watch any of our u23 matches last season or you would have noticed that we have some up and coming youngsters. The problem with our club and I have reiterated this many times, is that we tend to send them out on loan instead of what I have always preferred and that is keeping within the club.

By the way, our U21 are losing 0-4 to Chelsea, with a very young side. A lot of new names.

Also, a loan bid for Toti was turned down, in case you hadn't noticed.

Our U21 are playing tonight. Remarkably we’ve fielded a very young side? Most of them are under 21 years old!
