LVG first game Man Utd XG 1.17 Swansea 0.28 and we lodt 1-2. Sort of reminds me of today, they basically scored 2 goals out of the blue and did nothing else.

Is it bad that I already want City to win today?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s a bit early to be cheering them on, surely?
Or are you concerned about West Ham beating you to the Conference place?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We’re not gonna be in the mix and it’s between City and Liverpool so I hope City run away with it tbh.
Well. Have to take that on the chin.
Hopefully that’s the end of McFred.
----
I mean 4 years 4 years they've played somehow together
Second half was more encouraging, Rashford should have scored 2, we played the way we should have been from minute 1 when Ronnie came on for Fred.
Let’s hope this is the last we see if Mcfred.

hungry like the rowlf?
That reminded me of matches under Rangnick where we might play 15 minutes that approximated what the coach wanted but couldn't keep it up against a better drilled side. Three transfers that improve the starting 11 and six months of training and I think we'll be fine.
Man it’s gonna be a long week.
Well seconds after that Ronaldo got smashed with more force and no freekick.

And for a team chasing the game, we really didn't create a great deal. Hafibot is incapable of understanding context and that a team who are losing by 2 at home are likely to apply some pressure and create some chances
They had nothing on goal pretty much apart from the goal from a cross and rebound goal. They had plenty of counters but 2nd half if we include our onside chance that should have counted we would have had 13 shots 4 on target to there 3 shots 1 on target.
1 - Erik ten Hag is the first Manchester United manager to lose his first Premier League game in charge since Louis van Gaal in August 2014 against Swansea City. Setback.
4th spot it is then
It's ok, next home game is against some diddy team we thrashed in pre-season.
We created way more than Brighton though. Nornally you win by 2 or 3 with the chances we had compared to them.

No you don't. Their goals were both absolute sitters. We didn't create enough to hope to score 4 or 5. As I'm sure xG will show

Nice
Yeah but I am on about Rashford chances one that didn’t count which would have.
I even checked XG and basically the 2 tap ins were the only chances Brighton had of note all game and the others had like 90%+ chance if not going in.
If our Rashford sitter wasn’t wrongly flagged we would have had higher XG.

So we had a lower xG? But should have scored 4 or 5 goals. Whilst Brighton were lucky to score 2. With a higher xG.
For someone who loves xG so much, your inability to actually interpret these stats is insanely awful
