I have just watched the clip of Neville and Redknapp going at it.
The problem for both of them is that they are both right.
The Glazers do need to come over here and sort their business out and you can not let the players get off with out criticism.

Agree
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Glazers are here. And they sorted their business out when the6 replaced Woodward.

I haven’t been to Old Trafford since about 2007, is it really that bad nowadays?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Glazers have redeveloped 3 sides, filled in the corners and put a statue up.
However, the seats were designed for 9 year old school children so you're forced to stand.

Neville is bang on, the glazers are ultimately responsible.
1) They haven’t spent a penny, they’ve only taken.
2) They hired the execs after Gill left, and it’s their recruitment from the top down that has lead us to where we currently are. We need a modern day structure with footballing people managing the football.
3) There is no leadership at the club. In the squad, at board level. No strategy, no clear plan for the foreseeable future, just constant plasters over wounds.
4) Now that throwing money at the problem isn’t going to attract the talent we need, he have a real problem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1 he much more do you want the club to spend and why do you want it to come from the owners? We aren’t City, Chelsea or PSG.
2. We have a modern day structure and football people running the football side. Who would you replace, and who with?
3. No idea how you have determ8ned this, but our structure is pretty clear.
4. Successful clubs spends fortunes. It’s just how you spend it. The likes of Maguire, McTom, Rashford, just aren’t good enough.

‘ They need a modern day footballing structure. ’
But they clearly don’t want to and have refused to for over a decade now. They make minor changes when the heat is on to get the fans off their back then do f-ck all afterwards. I’m sure they could make more money out of United but they still makes tens of millions every season and seem perfectly happy with that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which is why they need to feck off.
If they had the right people in, I wouldn’t care less if they were taking £40m a year in dividends. Just stay away from the club and let the right people run it.
But they won’t do that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who are these people?
Richard Arnold was saying a few weeks ago the glazers are tough, thick skinned people who won’t even bat an eyelid about protests. Not sure what people can do to get them out really.
Manchester United having poor facilities is not the reason for the flogging today. We were flogged by Brentford ffs…. Facilities my backside

I wish our elite transfer negotiating team would go to Glazer HW and give them their best reasons not to sell the club. They'd sign the deed over by the end of the meeting

They’ve not spent a penny of new money.
All of the development OT has seen since the takeover was already baked in.
All they’ve done is make some minor changes to allow better access for disabled fans (which was mandated by law).
The senior players are just cants, that doesn't help. Ronaldo and Maguire ffs

Stop going to games. Empty stadiums is never a good look. That's what did it for Wenger in the end.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I couldn't watch it. They're both talking over each other, just repeating the same line, seemingly without realising that they can both be right at the same time.
A football director:
1) Could have implemented a football style and appointed a manager to fit the style.
2) Implementing a transfer strategy like age bracket of players, character of the players and not investing in players over a certain age.
3) Could have implemented a scouting department who track players with data analysis and use the modern tools. I have read they don't have a clue about this which is an embarrassment for a club like Man Utd. Liverpool have done this with Skillcorner.

4) He could have prevented buying players like Maguire and Ronaldo, see point 2.
Redknapp is such an awful pundit. He gets rather sheepish when Neville brings up Spurs.
The Glazer hate piece is just out of the fan 101 book. Team performs badly. Hate the manager. Sack the manager. Recruit new manager. Hate the new manager. Sack the new manager. Repear. Eventually fans turn on owners. See: Arsenal 2010-2022
