Embarrassing

I suspect this article is an example of confirmation bias rather than a credible assessment of journalism.

Really? Everything I have read in the media is that Spurs are favourites today and I agree with that view

Yep I think so too. Pretty sad.

Always makes me laugh how Man City`s appalling Prem record against Spurs is never mentioned, but Spurs record against City is.

As for Arsenal, they have the easiest start imaginable, and could easily win their opening five matches. But that is what they are flat track bullies. Put them up against a decent side and they collapse.

Yes that would be Liverpool, scrambling a draw against a promoted side.

The media also never mention that between 1915 and 1952, that`s 37 years, Spurs only lost one league game at Stamford Bridge.

I am pretty sure the media is the biggest influencer in global society so yes people, rightly or wrongly do take notice.

Not that this typical Sandy sharticle has anything do to with that though.

Feckin hell, just how many conspiracy theorists do Spurs have?

If you really think your club are going places, just sit back and enjoy it.

Why is it that when Spurs play Man City, Man City's awful record against Spurs just gets a throwaway line on Sky Sports before they spend the rest of the build up talking about how great City are and how they'll beat us anyway,
-------------------------------------------
That's probably based on the fact that over the last 10 years, City have won 16 games to Spurs 10

Spurs' good start and great summer window has barely had a mention, and Spurs' record since January compared to Chelsea hasn't even been mentioned at all. A lot of Spurs fans seem to be buying into it too, going into todays game just hoping for a draw.
-------

The Guardian's Football Weekly podcast definitely seemed to fancy a Spurs win.

There is one or two ( actually loads of 'em ) on the Arsenal boards too.

The amount of "we are nailed on top 4" or "We will challenge the top two" is breath taking.

just seen this on another thread. Word for word what SteveB has posted in the OP. He must have forgot to switch accounts

I don’t think it’s a Sandy account, it’s an imitator. Unless ofcourse Sandy is stupid enough to use his distinctive but utterly idiotic writing style (no title just one long sentence starting with where the title should be) on his other account.
