Well that much is true.
Fingers crossed.
Nunes a done deal is breaking over various news outlets and twitter sources from Portugal
Would be an excellent transfer I think. We've needed a dynamic midfielder for a long time.
Just need a striker on loan with an option and I'd be pleased. Just a shame we couldn't have got some of these deals completed a few weeks ago.

Romano confirming talks are advanced
Looking very good.
Would be our most significant signing since Neves
Flies in the face of this theory that we had to sell to buy doesn't it.
Also looks like Mendes is getting heavily involved again. Guo probably realised Jeff and Scott just weren't cutting it.
If we sold MGW it would cover most of the fee

Just tried to pour some cold water on the situation on mm, I'm going to get absolutely battered by all those kids who are running around like they've eaten too many smarties .
Stand by it though, if it happens absolutely great but he's a kid with 2 seasons and 7 goals to his name, he's not prime time Luis Figo.

I saw it Gonna give it the love eyes
PSV unhappy with Hoever thus far. Demoted him to the youth set up and not happy apparently
Jordao to Santa Clara for the year apparently
Hoever played in PSVs initial league games and their manager said his future lies as a centre back not the full back/wing back role he played for Wolves. But he’s not even made the squad for their European game against Rangers this week and it’s looking like that’s a career going to waste
It was a weird loan for him to go as a right back, as PSV already have a Netherlands international right back in their squad. If they move him to centre back, then he will be competing with Branthwaite for game time who is on loan from Everton and probably further along in his development.
Nunes being reported as a done deal, looks like Guo found some cash down the back of the sofa last week and brought it to the match on Saturday. All very exciting but we still need a striker or two.
No one really knows the figures but I would have surmised that without outgoing sales our transfer budget for this window would have originally been 40-60m. With Collins, Guedes and Nunes that has been exceeded by some distance and still talk of more deals in the pipeline I can only assume that additional external investment has either been contractually agreed or Guo is promising support for these deals.
Either way just good to see that Lage is now getting what he asked for, albeit one year on.
Nunes being reported on the BBC now. Still need to agree personal terms though.
Nunes is travelling to England today evidently. Certainly the Portugese press are reporting this as a done deal.
Still need a decent investment in a striker, and Bruno has said he expected 3 or 4 more signings this window and I guess Nunes would be the first of those.
Does look like a sizeable and unexpected investment from Fosun is happening. Although I guess we don't know for sure yet whether some or all of that cost will be funded by player sales.
Yes I think so, I expect MGW will be sold and maybe others.
A proven striker on loan - I agree with Tam-with no more sales would be ideal, then review the striker situation later after seeing how Raul does and Silva,
we are taking a bit of a risk with a few young and relatively inexperienced players who we assume will do great eg Collins but there are experienced ones around too, not so much at CB with Saiss and Coady gone , be very interesting to see how Killman and Collins get on against some of the best strikers in the world , and to see if we manage to score more of course
