Why not?

Think sainz best of the rest will be too far down the road
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sainz needs an empty track to win a race
Max almost half a sec clear
Perez looking good knowing max won't be starting pole
Leclerc finally showing pace
That's max probably starting 15th now, ferrari doing g their usual botch job
Ferrari now making mistakes in quali
Max destroying the rest of the pack
This will be the worst pole in history
Ferrari really need to sort out their team management
Max calling podium tomorrow. #Ambition
Atleast the floors are now safe and they dont flex 🤣
Yeah, that really affected Red Bull. Only 1.8 sec clear of Mercedes now.
Wow Russell and Ham really are deflated
Should've kept quiet merc from 0.7sec bk to double that, clever
Ferrari might be in better shape set-up wise for the race, wouldn't surprise me if RedBull degrade their tyres faster in what will be warmer conditions tomorrow.
Then again...forecast was supposed to hot for qualifying today, which in theory should have brought Mercedes close to the front.
Cold conditions more than anything else is the main limiting factor in Mercedes' abject qualifying performance now (not conducive). Can't get tyres into right working range quick enough.
(Complete contrast to Hungary where it was hot).
Could be a completely different story in hotter conditions for the race tomorrow, tyres will come alive and start working.
I don't think it is a foregone conclusion that Max makes his way up to a podium position...without safety car, reliability failures or wet conditions. He'll do well to avoid contact or getting stuck into the gravel trap against what will be very aggressive starters into turn 1, behind and ahead of him.
And so Belgium should stay on the calendar! Unless it’s due to the circuit owner or whoever not being able to pay the money to host a race, it shouldn’t even be up for discussion. It’s popular with the drivers, it’s popular with the fans. It’s certainly my favourite track of the season. Ditch Monaco if they want to add new venues to the calendar without it becoming overcrowded.
Love Hakkinen reliving that mega overtake on Schumacher with Brundle on the gridwalk
Absolutely legendary! Yet another fantastic iconic moment from this fine race circuit
Mika is a proper laugh. Good bloke 👍
Here we go laps. Promises to be an exciting race
Biggest fear here is max getting involved in a collision on the 1st turn
Max a bit jammy taking an engine and starting 14th with Gasly (8th) Pit lane start lol.
Is that because gasly took the engine today? No idea on the rules, well here we go at least a full race today
