City may still be trying to win the CL by then and Haaland will want to win it with them.
Depends how long city are funded by a whole country for. Look at Chelsea, you never know what’s around the corner
Chelsea are the biggest spenders in this window and are adding Fofana for £80m.
Haaland already has had a lot of injuries and is unlikely to have a long PL career.
Let's see if Pep starts him every week from now to World Cup with the busy schedule.

If that forces him to leave prematurely sure. If they don't have the funds they used to and he sticks around there's no reason to think he won't still be scoring goals for fun. He was doing that for Salzburg, Dortmund and for Norway, none of which are anywhere near as good as City.
Only major injuries or a move away prevents him.

Has he really had 'a lot' of them? Or is it just 1 or 2?
I think players are able to have longer careers now anyway. Only thing that might go for him is his pace. If he doesn't get any major injuries he should still retain his pace for another 10 or so years.

Less injuries than Aguero by the look of it.
He could hit 40 goals in a season if he starts maybe even 30 games. He's ridiculous
Aguero didn't miss a game through injury until he was 25 according to the same website 🤔 Haaland way ahead with 3 years to go.

Most of them little niggly ones.
Remember when Kane was supposed to be too injury prone for City to spend over £100m on? Next season 37 league games and 50 in all competitions.
Nah, they didn't go for Kane cos he was too expensive. They chose yo wait a year for Haaland, a younger, cheaper more prolific striker.
Would you say a 22 year old Haaland for £52m makes more business sense than buying 28 year old Harry Kane for £130m?
And, actually, a lot of repeated ones and in last 2 seasons a lot of games missed. 3 lots of 6/7 games missed.

No if you're Daniel Levy.
But it was all part of the narrative of many people in questioning such a signing.
Haaland seems ridiculously cheap.

Of course it does. I was talking about how an injury record can be made too much of and relating it to Kane, cause pretty much any time the subject of Kane to City came up it was always met with "he's too injury prone".
Must be some cheap players with release causes.
Haaland is annoyingly good. Just looks like he’ll score whenever he feels like it.
Strong dislike.
The Real Madrid president said Haaland would "Be lucky to get a place on our bench"
Hard to see another club that could afford the asking price City would want in 3 years time if he continues to develop as a player.
I think everyone knew he was a monster of a player but until he kicked a ball in the premier league it was hard to judge how well he would do as it’s the toughest league to play in as even the worse teams have some useful players
Can safely say centre backs look like children next to him, he is one powerful bloke and he is going to boss every team he plays against
He is faster than I thought too , so sharp over the first few yards
What a player ….best striker in the world by the end of this season if not already
I doubt he will beat Jimmy Greaves record of 365 top flight goals.
Fair play though he has what Five goals.
