I'm kind of interested to read from those who kept on about how small our squad was last season, to how small it is again this time around. We have to name our senior squad (over 21's) after the window closes and it looks like we'll register less than we did last season.
Granted the depth is stronger, but it will still be a "small" squad.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As things stand today we have 22 senior players ie 21 or over. Boly and Mosquera may well go out but equally we yet bring in another one or two.
So not such a small squad and certainly far stronger than we had last season.

We're actually rumoured to be after 3 players before the end of the season. Boubacar Traore and a CB (Craig Dawson linked) rumoured to be the other two.
He's going to be fuming if that comes off.
Look at us going out and spending cash like Everton
From that list Boly will probably go. Mosquera a loan probably. And not certain we will keep Traore. And if we sign a new Traore then Donk may go. And Chiquinho won’t play. And hopefully Hwang out too
If they bring in another 3 they will have be aware of the home grown rule, ie no more than 17 players can be non home-grown
Wolfie absolutely bricking it in case we add to the squad

If the rumours of Craig Dawson are true, then that will add to our homegrown players.
Probably a good chance we see someone like Hwang or Dendoncker leave too.
If Chiquinho is out for the season then surely no point in naming him in the squad
I'm sure you re confirm the squad after January's window so deffo worth not registering chiq till Feb
Interestingly Sarkic was born in Grimsby so I assume he qualifies as home grown.
There is a thread on MolMix for people to name their dream signings.
On 19th May this year, someone said Sasa Kalajdzic and Matheus Nunes.

Nobody would care about a small squad if the back ups were of a good standard. They were not a year ago but it looks like that will have improved now. It really isn't tricky..
G - Sa, Sarkic
RB - Semedo, Jonny
LB - Jonny, Ait Nouri, Bueno
CB - Kilman, Collins, Toti, Mosquera
Midfield - Neves, Nunes, Moutinho, Dendoncker
Attack - Guedes, Neto, Traore, Podence, Hwang
Centre Forward - Jimenez, Kalajdzic
We have enough of a squad generally but if Mosquera, Traore, Dendoncker or Hwang leave then we start to look light in some positions, and each of them probably needs replacing
1 day before Wolves visit, Bournemouth have sacked their manager
Lots of posters on molmix calling for Bruno to be sacked. One stat quoted was that for the 10 games prior to Newcastle Bruno's record was equal to that of Terry Connor over the previous 10 games, 3 draws and 7 defeats.
In danger of being as bad as Solbakken who had three wins in his last 16 games. Now that would be sinking to the depths
Would be madness to sack Bruno now. If things haven't improved by end October, then maybe.
Liverpool and Man City on the horizon, so even end of September would be too soon t judge.

You just have to completely ignore all the previous games. Incredibly unfair to compare him to Solbakken who was a complete failure here.
Linked with Jason Denayer on a free. Belgium International centre back. May class as homegrown too as he came through at Man City.
Wolves being linked to Belgian international centre back Denayer who was with Lyon but is now a free agent as his contract expired this summer
Agree with you Wulfrun, admittedly the run of results has been poor, but why would the board sack him just at the time they are developing the squad that he's been crying out for for a year. The run at the end of last season was attributable to injuries and the lack of squad depth and since the summer the squad has been in transition. He's surely got to be given a decent period of time once the window is closed to get the team playing the way he wants it to. Im not saying he's the perfect coach but he needs to be given a fighting chance at least.

Absolutely correct Oldgold as any right minded Wolves fan would agree. Which is why I don't go on molmix along with all the whingers and pant wetters.
