Women’s football
American football
Golf
F1

All of them bar Men's Football and F1. Gaelic football is good to watch and rugby is bearable.

I watch basically every sport bar cricket

Most sports tbh.

Only really watch football, golf, darts, hurling and the odd big international rugby game or big fight.

As an Irishman I have to disagree that Gaelic football is a good watch. The odd decent game but it’s mostly dull.

When I worked in Australia I changed my opinion about Aussie Rules Football which I had thought was a bit airy-fairy, but it is a brutal game at times and those guys are genuine athletes and hard as nails.

I’ll watch women’s tennis if I can be bothered but I don’t have the attention span to sit through potentially 5 sets in the men’s.

Cannot stand proper golf whatsoever! (I do like Crazy Golf)

I enjoy watching gymnastics. If there’s one thing I could change about my body is that I’d love to have more flexibility than that of an ironing board.

Horses bore me

I’ll give anything else at least a few minutes

Cricket, just don’t get it. It’s rubbish.

If you understand the rules, mostly, or have played it, (then the figure goes to 99%) you'll enjoy, or at least tolerate, watching it.

Oh, off point, 63% of stats are made up apparently.

I watch most sports. Cricket and Golf probably the main ones I don't have any interest in.

Egg chasing - I just can’t get into it
Test cricket - love one day cricket, hate tests
Rowing - like watching paint dry
Basketball - too many “goals” “scores” - lacks tension for me
Ice hockey - I can’t keep up with it
Sailing - faaaack off
Golf - more interested in the beautiful courses
Cycling - they cause me utter rage when driving, so fack em
Swimming - I’m schitt at it so get a bit jelly
Baseball - silly boys rounders
Rounders - wish I could twaaat it further
Hurdles - I only watch it in the hope someone lands nads first on one
Javelin - prefer darts
Snooker - prefer pool
Diving - it’s not a sport, it’s professional falling
Water polo - takes outrageous stamina - I’m jelly

My post wasn't a reply to this but you have made my point.

Come to the light my son, I can help you understand cricket first, then God's message.

Spoiler alert: God's message is "get up when I do".

God being the Sun. For me.

On the flip side, I saw speed climbing and technical climbing at the last olympics or whatever it was and was very taken with it - incredible athletes

I enjoyed the bmx at the Olympics, much rather watch someone make some physical effort than someone in baggy trousers swing a stick at a ball then go for a stroll

You can’t beat egg chasing!
I agree about tests/ exams etc
Perhaps you need stabilisers to help you keep up on the ice. Work on your balance
How can you prefer pool if you’re not good at swimming?
I’m guessing you’d watch the World Jelly Wobbling Championships if that was a thing?

Any kind of racing (running, swimming, road cycling, horses, cars) if it isn't over in less than 5 minutes leaves me cold. I'm more sympathetic to motobike racing as there's that element of jeopardy.

Makes sense that to you that it's not a good watch, but its pretty unheard of here and I find it fascinating tbh. I don't follow it, but I like the concept.

Unlike football, the commentators actually improve your viewing experience when you watch cricket.

F1 (used to be a big fan in the Schumacher days though)
Golf (only a fan in Faldo then Tiger's heyday)
Bowling
Darts (is this even a sport )
Swimming (does this happen outside the Olympics)

Beach volleyball

No one would watch if it was over 50's only.

Never enjoyed Rugby at all. Throw the football forwards and progress the game for goodness sake!

Long distance Cycling is awful. I did quite enjoy when that Team Sky guy had urine thrown at him tho and that mental crash a couple years back when a spectator caused a pile up
