Something everyone knew about Sancho when he was at Dortmund was that he's a technically gifted playmaker whose vision and passing are best utilised in a well organised, fluid attack, with movement around him, and in particular with an attacking full back making overlapping runs. So we spent shed loads on him, put him in front of AWB, or sometimes Telles or an out-of-form Shaw, and bought a 37 year-old forward who demands the ball as much as possible, shoots given any opportunity, will hardly ever make runs in behind or decoy movements into the channels, and tends to drop deep to get in the way of our number 10.
Sancho has been such a disappointment.

Rashford is very poor up top. He’s not a central option. Can’t hold up the ball, positionally awful and not great in the air. Poor option. Only good on the counter.

We all know he's most likely staying, because no one wants him.
That doesn't mean we think EtH think's he's our best option up front. He was dropped for the Liverpool game and kept on the bench the game after for more than just not being match fit.
