They said some of the money is for transfers and we've barely been able to permanently sell our players that have left.
We've spent about £113 million this transfer window after taking away player sales.

There is more money to spend but no one wants to sell, we've got £50-£60 million that would have gone on for Bastoni.

I've given you 5 stars because this is classic Billy but we can buy again in Jan so whats the rush? We are in a better place than the end of last season and the current squad should be able ok for 10 weeks until the season ends for the WC.

No point in splashing out for the sake of it?!

So how much have we spent then, by your grate math?

We’ve only withdrawn £100m of it so far.

Btw I see some seem to think Romero doesn’t count towards this summers budget. Off course he does otherwise we would’ve just bought him permanently last summer

never believed that hype tbh

though we did do some great business but courtesy of Don Paratici

Why you no happy Billy boy?

Don’t get the moans on this, we’ve had a cracking window.

Finally have back up for Kane, Bought a top quality Prem ready centre mid and added a classy player in Perisic. Udogie looks good, it’s a simple fact that Udinese would only sell if they could keep him this season.

Added to Bentancur and Kulusevski I would say we have done great business.

Paying £41m to make Romero permanent.

And we’re still sniffing around players, who did you want us to sign Billy?

According to transfermarket.com

TRANSFER RECORD
Arrivals/Departures Fee
Income €38.75m
Expenditure €169.90m
Overall balance €-131.15m

This wouldn’t included the signing on bonuses to perisic & forster

Who cares if Forest have bought 20 players - which one of them would you have wanted at Spurs

West Ham have been schitt so far and we will comfortably finished above them.

Villa have spent a fortune and somehow look worse

Chelsea are spending a fortune and somehow look worse

The club didn’t ever say that £150m was going to be added to the initial budget plus sales, did they?

For me, ignore some of the bigger spenders, given a large majority of these were either panic buys ( Utd ) or FOMO buys, where clubs can see all these deals going on and feel the need to join in. Or silly stuff like Forest. Like that many new faces will work straight away.

Spurs look like they are being sensible in only buying what they actually need, and have avoided panic buys that won't improve what we have.

The other thing is it is clear some of the players Conte wanted simply just aren't available. Eg Bastoni. So why buy just for the sake of it ?

Look at City. Probably the best at transfers these days, and always only buy what they definitely need to improve them. Clearly they have not joined in the silliness, but will still improve this season, and win the title.

Yes we all want quality players, but we do have a stronger squad this season, which is the name of the game given the level of fixtures. We have always been rubbish when relying on our second 11, but now that appears much less of a problem.

Not saying Levy isn't tight and likes to be in control of everything, but why buy what we don't need, but wait for the targets to become available.

They shouldn't have announced that they must have seen this outrage coning at end of the transfer windows. I guess they just don't give a solidarity fack but at the same time proving they pump money into the club

I think they were obligated to announce it by the FSA?

Thought I read on athletic or somewhere that they actually didn't have to
