after a gr8 first touch he gave it away yh won it back well tho

Our pressing has been non existent which has been really surprising.

From the little I’ve seen of him in this game, it looks like he needs to receive the ball to be seen to best effect rather than him going after it.

Bobby on for him at half time, at least he can link up.
Think it's obvious Nunez will score a ton once he settles.
carvalhos done well when hes had the ball apart from one time where tsimikas was open and he just lumped it into the everton cbs. but yh not involved much at all.
We need midfield control. Klopp is asking the wide players to cover the fullbacks and our 8s to press but this tactic isn't working.
once press is beat fab n the cbs exposed which is what we do tbh. fab doesnt have the pace for tht evert atk n mf. gomez has bailed us out a few times
It's actually a fairly new team...takes a while to gel from mf to forwards.
We have more gears to go...2nd half we will.hopefully punish them.
As a neutral - good game so far!
We need VVD or Gomez to dribble a few yards into the midfield to create an overload in the centre to have spare players in other areas. Matip is great at this.
