Do us a favour guys and stuff them forest w@#£ers

All I’ve heard all summer is how great Forest are going to be, over spent, got too many players and weren’t anything special last season, got promoted with poor reffing. Just seen they lost after being 2-0 up, to Bournemouth!

Yes but he's got a point. The top 6 sides get away with so much with referees. Takes a scrap between Conte and Tuchel before they get sent off

Klopp is even allowed to come on to the pitch to discuss what card to issue to opponents player!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately we can't say its ok for us to do because others do it, its like saying I know I was speeding but so were those guys....its doesnt make it right what we did.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course not but does that not just show the bias?
As regards the red for Marsch, we do not know the reason for the red but it cannot be for not being in the technical area - as that would have to be a yellow and then red for second offence. So once can assume it must have been for "foul and abusive language" - which is unacceptable.

Massive game next v Forest. 3 without a win now and although panic alarms shouldn't be sounded yet, the stations are being built.

Forest game is massive now. They are poor so no excuses not to beat them. Would like to see Harrison and Sinisterra swap wings

I kept losing the stream second half, so couldnt see everything.

one ref gives a card, another doesn't, way of the world unfortunately, I dot see that as a bias, just inconsistent officiating and you have to just get on with it, tread more carefully sometimes (in fact just stay within the rules) and try to not let it affect you moving forwards.

I like that Marsch is passionate, just have to keep it as passion not let it get out of control.

Who's gonna tell him to stop Orta? He's worse 🤣

Next week against Forest will be interesting. Two of the worst defences face off against each other. Has to be 0-0.

I find the term "inconsistent officiating" frustrating - the referee has made a mistake - pure and simple. In every profession (and refereeing is a profession) there is a liability for the mistakes and the professional can be sued, but that is not so with referees. Just waiting for someone with deep pockets to test this in the courts.

I like Balsa's approach, they're important part of the game, not going to criticise, it just is how it is.

I can see a repeat of the thrashings we got last season at Man City, Liverpool and Man U away if Lorente remains in that defence.

Even Lampard sets Everton up defensively to be solid and not give much away and got a creditable point today and last week at Brentford too... which we were miles away from achieving.

Today's result for the first time has got me questioning JM because after Brighton where there were ample warning signs as well as in pre season he still doesn't seem to be setting us up in a very good manner defensively.

We'll see if he has the nous next week to rectify things and the team can bounce back and prove Chelsea was not a fluke which at this present time seems as though it was

Can't expect a lot from a game where thanks to poor officiating you're two goals down. No penalty & no free-kick it's a completely different game.

Predictably harsh verdict on Marsch seeing red. The foul on Summerville was a penalty, not surprised he had plenty to say when you consider what had gone before. Lampard, Klopp, Tuchel do it every week but go unpunished.

Cooper is our best centre-half & that was clear last season.

That's not the case at all.

I don't like his lack of professionalism to get himself sent off.

What is predictably harsh about this exactly?

"Amidst all this Marsch gets himself sent off for stupidly being out of technical area all the time and isnt that two cards in two matches for him?

He has to show better leadership. We've already had problems due to red cards last season and failing to control players this season, he has to set a better example."

Do you think its ok as a manager to get cards and get sent off?

Regarding the officiating, that today was about more than just inconsistencies.

VAR replay the incident for their penalty for an eternity before sending it back to the monitor for the clown to have another look. He then views it goodness knows how many times before pointing to the spot.

As has been said elsewhere, by their own definition a "clear & obvious error" it certainly wasn't & therefore a penalty should not have been awarded.

The foul on Summerville was a clear penalty but VAR must have viewed it once before once again deciding in their favour. Another horrendous decision.

The technology has to be applied with fairness & integrity or it may as well be scrapped.

Ok, just back from the pub … left when it was 3-1 to them. No real change then.

Yep, the bit I saw (up until the 3-1), we were pretty much shiiite. That 3rd goal was a ferruccking farce. Oh my, what a tangled web we weave.

God help us (yes, 18 pints down atm) but … jeeeezzzz … we were shiiiiiite.

Maybe he thought it was clear and obvious at the time and then it turns out when watching replays it wasnt quite so clear and obvious.

I think what would help here is getting rid of this situation whereby officials aren't allowed to explain their actions to the public.

I didnt see Summerville foul, lost the stream, but inconsistencies or however you to phrase it are one of most annoying things in sport.

An example from tennis, clear rules on audible obscenties from players, Kygrios swears all teh time, the TV keep apologising for it, another less famous player does it, gets a code violation.

Happens in all sport.

Did it cost us match, I don't think so.

You questioned his credibility on an earlier post.

I don't blame Marsch for his actions today, no. It's very easy to take the moral high ground & say he shouldn't do it. The officiating was shocking, end of story. The bloke has passion. Put the two together & the outcome wasn't surprising really. And once again, I don't blame him.

An unjust 2 goal head start certainly doesn't help. Then a penalty to us not awarded when it should have been compounds the issue.

However, I do agree on Kyrgios. Not a tennis fan but the man gets away with murder!

"You questioned his credibility on an earlier post."

With respect to players wanting to join us and I did it in comparison to Bielsa, has nothing to do with the red card.

It's nothing about taking moral high ground, it's about having some respect for the game, the rules are simple, he breaks the rules, he gets a punishment.

Under Marsch we have discipline slip and it's cost us.

You choose to make excuses for that behaviour, I choose to say he should set a better example, I would say that whomever the manager is, whichever the club, it's nothing personal against Marsch as you are trying to make out.
