Still disgusted by our performance and attitude.
saw a wee clip last night of GVB prior to our second goal. We get the free kick and he is pointing and shouting for someone to get on O'Riley.
They don't and he gets the assist for the second, see tbh thats down to poor player attitude cause you can see the manager is better than that.
100% it was attitude.
Every man and their dog knew Celtic would fly out the traps, quick free kicks, throw inns etc yet we have players strolling around.
Bunch of sh1tebags on Saturday the lot of them
were they caught out or was there an arrogance that they would win?

The fear was reeking off rangers all week on and off the park. They knew they were gonna get battered
This attitude thing is the new comfort blanket with Rangers fans convincing themselves that they just need to fix that and everything will be ok.
The January transfer window was the reason that Celtic will win the league this year. The window just finished has simply increased the gap.
Celtic simply have better players than Rangers in every position and, in most positions, two better players.
If Mooy and McCarthy were at Ibrox (I know!!) they would be getting sold to Juventus in the summer for £20m.
It's not just a case of 'how many Rangers players would get a game for Celtic'. The fact is that not one Rangers player would get in Celtic's matchday squad.
The board have let the manager and team down massively and you could be in full blown crisis by the end of the week.
thought abada over maeda was 50/50 call, pleased with it in the end though.
what about the speed of Daizen btw lousy bastirt goldson wiping him out.
Goldson getting turned by 'he's only a kick & chase' Maeda was beautiful.
I couldn't stand Gerrard, i never liked him and his attitude always came across as snide.
think it was his diving in games that done it, recall one in a qualifier v standard liege and from there i just thought he was a whank.
GVB is a decent manager i think, hung out to dry by the board and you can see in europe he knows how to change a game, he's a guy you have to respect.

I've left out Hart, McCarthy, and one or two that i don't believe Ange had a part in when he first arrived.
There are also a few unproven thus far, Guchi, bernabei, Haksabanovic, & Abildgaard.
But is it of any shock to anyone that our improvement in the last 3 transfers windows is due to that heel dragging misery prik PL no longer having involvement?
worried about him taking over at the top tbh.
We played well. Its not often both teams do in a match like this. It gives us plenty of confidence going forward in the league and a bit more belief for the CL. I'm not naive enough to think we will stroll the league or suddenly start easing past teams in the CL. We could still get a reality check tomorrow, as we did against Bodo last year. Of course we are a year down the road with this team but still expect bumps in the road.
watching the game back, how the f... is that not a penalty?
I think I could accept a reality check from RM
On Lawwell, surely the board will read the room? Even if he does get it, chairman ‘ought’ to be non-exec. The worry is him pulling shadow influence via his placeman son.
i'm expecting one mate
see tbh though i thought rangers would give us more problems with the way we play, long diagonals from goldson in behind to Kent, on paper it should work.
the difference in quality will be too much i expect. it won't define our season or dampen my spirits.
Yes Hatate and ORiley
Both tremendous on Saturday
And Jota ...i still dont quite understand why hes at celtic ....how can Benfica let that happen ?
.if he showcases his talent in the CL then there will be a list of clubs wanting to add him to their team
His workrate and desire is class and he's a skillful Bassa
Gvb has too much respect for teams in scotland, too negative playing 2 holding midfielders v the st mirrens of the league.
Possession football taking sometimes half a dozen or more passes to get our our own half.
Feynoord fans said the same thing, it's turgid to watch.
End of the game we did not have one new signing on the park.
Needs to let the players off the tippy tappy leash and get a bit of momentum football going forward.
If not his successes in European games will run thin and it be shoogly nail time.
Only thing I disagree with jf is the arrogance part, our away form us poor and it was the lack of energy and lethargy that was alarming.
I said last week we need to stem the whirlwind start and we were atrocious.
We also don't look as fit as last season, or the players maybe want to play more on the front foot and this horseshoe football as feynoord called it is not acceptable.
Either way if not sorted out soon rangers and gvb are facked 😀

Yeah walker and mccoist kept trying to say it was just a coming together.
He ran into the back of him and tripped him up. Stone wall penalty regardless if he meant to tackle or not. You can fumbled into people and not expect a foul.
Guarentee even with VAR the corrupt refs up here still wont give it.
I thought before the game rangers would pull off one of their European style results. They did everything they could to slow the game down at times-taking their time at throw ins, etc. I’ve no idea why they didn’t think to be sharper when we had the ball in similar situations.
When we had the ball, we were relentless in going forward. The stats around possession only show how ineffective they were when they had it, and I can’t remember the numbers but we had far more play in their box than they did.
Even losing our first choice CF didn’t upset our game plan or tempo. Having to use 2 of our subs for injuries probably helped keep the score down, as we couldn’t use the players Ange probably wanted to later in the game.
No idea what’s happened to the fitness levels at ibrox either-Lundstrum could hardly move just before he was subbed. Tavernier seems to have lost a bit of his pace late on in games, and Goldson is playing like he’s just starting his career.
Rangers finished the game with a midfield that totalled 100 years old, and Gio knew the game was done when he took off Kent, Lundstrum and Colak to keep them for the European game.
Our midfield was outstanding. Mcgregor doing his job clearing crosses coming in at the edge of the box, until he got bored and nearly scored with an excellent diving header. Mooy kept things ticking over, and Turnbull got on the end of an amazing assist from McLaughlin to make sure we defo won the second half.
Fantastic performance and result. Only 6 games in though and still a massive way to go.

Dead excited for the madrid game. Been wanting them ever since the champions league was brought into exsitence.
Seen a few bold predictions but it will be a reality check tomorrow.
They are the current champions and European royalty. Can see it being 0-3 and that Vinicus Jr having taylor in his pocket all night.
Not sure what is happening at Rangers right now but something basic is amiss.
They’ve taken out a hard hitting injunction against some woman in the US who has had talks with a view to taking a major shareholding costing around £25m with the assurance of a £75m funding stream when they get there.
Yet she’s being taken to court over using their logo whilst she talks to other keen investors.
You’d think at least there’d be behind door discussions to test the water?
Then there’s all the unbudgeted income from player sales, Europa run and now CL qualification. Yet the transfer window was done and dusted back in July?
There’s the FFP watch list scenario but over a 3 year consideration surely couldn’t be an issue ongoing were they to spend another £5-10m on a couple of new faces with the CL money to come in.
Yes there’s the SD settlement rumoured to be some £7m but weren’t they now claiming to be cash positive some time ago after the Patterson sale and where they were in the Europa?
Something’s not right. Maybe the shareholders who put years of millions in for shares want their money back? What knows?

Finishing with the midfield three of Jack- Davis- Arfield with Sakala and Wright as the two wide players says it all.
For me Gio has looked at last season and recruited to drop fewer points in the league.
He hasnt brought in the 2 or 3 next level quick, technical players that the CL money should have afforded us.
All of this Celtic teams strengths exploit the weaknesses of the current Rangers team. They are quick (mentally and physically), technical and have a massive confidence coupled with a disregard for the opposition.
Rangers are still a good team - but they will struggle against quickness of thought, speed of movement and technical ability of celtic the way they are playing.

You dont start an OAP in an old firm game, especially against the fastest team in the UK.
Now they want to put a 40 year old in goals as well.
